WWE Backlash France Odds For Saturday Morning

It has been three days since I've been able to publish an update about BetOnline's WWE Backlash France odds. That's because, until this morning, I hadn't witnessed any price changes in any of the markets for the event since the previous update.

I revisited the website this morning and all but one of the markets have now been adjusted ahead of tonight's show.

Here's everything I've been able to follow ever since betting began. Be warned, the favourites are all heavy.

World Heavyweight Championship
I'm starting off with the market for Damian Priest .vs. Jey Uso because it's the one which has remained stationary for the past week.

WWE Backlash France 2024 Betting

After finding Damian Priest a -800 favourite to retain with a win against Jey Uso - when I first came across the market on Tuesday April 23rd - I later came across Priest at a heavily short -4,000.

Priest's challenger went from +425 to +1,000 in that time.

Undisputed WWE Championship
The Cody Rhodes .vs. AJ Styles market could very well have been the first market I wrote about today because, ever since April 23rd, Rhodes had been priced as a -4,000 fave to beat Styles (+1,000).

It was only sometime between last night and 11:00AM BST today when the bookmakers moved the champion's price down into -5,000.

WWE Backlash France 2024 Betting

As you'll be able to see, in the table above, even though Rhodes' price has shortened, the bookmakers have kept AJ Styles at +1,000.

The Bloodline .vs. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens
The market for Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga's meeting with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens had The Bloodline members priced as -500 favourites when I first became aware of it. A day later, the faves' odds had fallen into -1,000 and remained there right up until today when they were cut once more. This time, they were placed at -1,500.

WWE Backlash France 2024 Betting

A win for Orton and Owens was initially priced up at +300. It has since moved out to +600 after its three-day stop at +550.

WWE Women's Championship
As I noted on Tuesday, BetOnline sent me an email to announce the release of three Backlash markets. Two of those markets were showing differing prices by the time I visited the website eleven minutes after receiving the communication.

In the case of Bayley's WWE Women's Championship defence, in the triple threat match opposite Tiffany Stratton and Naomi, the bookies told me they had the titleholder at -400. By the time I visited the website, those odds appeared to have dropped into -450.

Bayley's odds were lowered into -800 by Wednesday morning. Then, when I visited the website later that day, she was at a shorter -1,500.

Upon today's browse through the markets, I noticed Bayley had been moved into -2,000.

WWE Backlash France 2024 Betting

With the bettors evidently siding with Bayley, her opponents have obviously drifted out with Stratton's price as the match's second-favourite rising from +250 to +650 and Naomi has been pushed to +1,800 from +750.

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
Just like with the WWE Women's Championship market, I noticed a change in the prices BetOnline emailed me and those that appeared on the website on Tuesday evening.

As you'll be able to see - the team of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were priced up at -2,000 faves to beat the champions - Asuka and Kairi Sane (The Kabuki Warriors). However, when I accessed the site, I noticed the firm had Belair and Cargill at -1,000 meaning there could potentially have been early money coming in on the champs because their price contrasted from +700 into +550.

I was surprised to see the titleholders' price lowered because - in my opinion - it makes complete sense for Belair and Cargill to be crowned champions for many reasons. One of which is that, with the tag champions floating from brand-to-brand, having Belair and Cargill with the belts allows the two Smackdown-affiliated wrestlers to compete on Raw as well. The company evidently has big ideas for Cargill and, with Bianca Belair being the first overall pick in the 2024 WWE Draft, it's obvious she remains a priority as well.

Anyway, back to the betting, the punters seem to have made the correct moves (in my opinion!) because the challengers' odds have finally returned to -2,000. They did so today after spending three days as -1,500 faves.

Those who believe the Kabuki Warriors will retain with the W can currently find them at +700. They were moved back to that number after ascending to +600 a little over three days ago.

WWE Backlash France Betting Update For Wednesday Night

A couple of WWE Backlash France markets have changed since I last visited the BetOnline website this morning.

The Bloodline's odds to beat Randy Orton and Kevin Owens have fallen into -1,000 from their earlier number of -500.

As a result, the babyface duo have been pushed up from +300 to +550.

The second market with recent adjustments is the one for the triple threat match for Bayley's WWE Women's Championship.

Bayley, who has been favoured, has continued to slide in. She's currently -1,500. I had noted, in this morning's post, that she had fallen from -450 into -800.

Bayley's challengers, Tiffany Stratton and Naomi, are now available at +600 and +1,200 respectively with the former raising from +325 and the latter up from +1,100.

The rest of BetOnline's markets are unchanged from previous updates. They are:

World Heavyweight Championship
Damian Priest -4,000
Jey Uso +1,000

Undisputed WWE Championship
Cody Rhodes -4,000
AJ Styles +1,000

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship

WWE Backlash France Betting Update For Wednesday Morning

A couple of betting markets, for WWE Backlash France, have been adjusted since I first wrote about them yesterday evening.

In the first market, Bayley's odds to retain her WWE Women's Championship in a triple threat match against Tiffany Stratton and Naomi have continued to slip.

On Tuesday, I noted that BetOnline had communicated to me that Bayley was a -400 favourite at 5:34PM BST. However, by the time I visited the website, the champion's price had appeared to have dropped into -450.

Bayley, as you can see in the table below, is now -800.

The challengers are now at +325 and +1,100 respectively with Stratton moving up from +275 and Naomi from +750.

Another market from yesterday, which was contrasted between email and website, was the one for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

BetOnline advised that The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) were +700 to successfully retain their straps. However, they were down to +550 before I wrote last night's post.

As a result, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who were -2,000 faves had moved up to -1,000.

Since yesterday's post, the challengers' price has moved into -1,500 while The Kabuki Warriors have risen to +600.

The remaining markets remain as they were at the time of Yesterday's Update.

Three More Backlash Markets Published

BetOnline's traders have published three more markets for this weekend's WWE Backlash event.

To start off  - the sports betting firm has placed Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, from The Bloodline, as -500 favourites to get a win over Randy Orton and Kevin Owens (+300).

The next two markets appear to have already been adjusted.

I received an email from BetOnline at 5:34PM BST this evening. At the time the mail arrived, the market for Bayley's defence of the WWE Women's Championship had the titleholder at -400, Tiffany Stratton as a +250 second-favourite and Naomi out at +750.

WWE Backlash 2024 Odds

As you'll see above, Bayley's odds have been reduced into -450 while Tiffany Stratton has been moved up to +275 while Naomi has been kept at +750.

The wagering on the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship market is also showing different prices when contrasted with what I was sent and what is currently available on-site.

WWE Backlash 2024 Betting

The team of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were priced at -2,000 but now appear to have been pushed up to -1,000. On the flip-side, The Kabuki Warriors' odds to retain with a win have dipped into +550 from +700.

Those three markets can be found alongside the markets for the two male championship matches that have been available since last week. As of the time of writing, the two champions - Damian Priest and Cody Rhodes - are both -4,000 to beat their respective +1,000 challengers on the night.

Backlash France Odds As Of Sunday Morning

Earlier this week, BetOnline published a couple of markets for the WWE Backlash event which takes place this coming Saturday.

Both markets for the major men's Championships in WWE.

Only one market has changed since I first began following the betting on Tuesday evening.

WWE Backlash France Betting

As you can see, the odds for Damian Priest to successfully retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso fell from -800 into -4,000 after a few days.

The challenger, who was +425 initially, has been pushed out to +1,000.

Betting on Cody Rhodes .vs. AJ Styles - for the Undisputed WWE Championship - is also showing the champion priced as a -4,000 fave with Styles at +1,000.

The event will take place from LDLC Arena in Decines-Charpieu - a city in Lyon, France.

BetOnline Publishes WWE Draft Markets For Night 1

WWE Draft 2024 Betting Odds

With tonight seeing the first night of WWE's 2024 Draft, the oddsmakers from BetOnline have created a trio of markets for their customers.

The markets allow punters to gamble on who they believe will be Raw's first pick, Smackdown's initial choice and which female wrestler is the first to be drafted.

Bianca Belair is a -500 favourite to be the first female picked. The other ladies eligible in tonight's draft pool are Liv Morgan (+225), Shayna Baszler (+300), Zoey Stark (+500), Nia Jax (+600) and Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (+1,800).

Per the rules displayed on the WWE website, Smackdown will get the first pick tonight. Raw will get to choose the initial selection on Monday night.

BetOnline's market for Smackdown's first selection lists 'The Bloodline' at -500 while - over in the market for Raw's initial selection - Randy Orton tops the list at -150.

'The Bloodline' is second-favourite to be the first pick for the red brand with the package pick of Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Paul Heyman being offered at +150.

Becky Lynch Wins Women's World Championship At +600

Becky Lynch won the Women's World Championship at odds of +600 last night.

Becky Lynch Wins Battle Royal (23/4/24)

As mentioned in yesterday's post, the oddsmakers from BetOnline had installed a market in which customers could gamble on who they believed would victoriously walk out of the Monday Night Raw battle royal for the vacant Women's World Championship.

The title was previously held by Rhea Ripley, who was injured during a backstage fight with Liv Morgan which aired on the April 8th edition of Raw resulting in Ripley having to vacate the strap a week later.

With Morgan being in the early stages of a feud with Ripley, and being there when the injury occurred, the oddsmakers placed her as the odds-on favourite to win the battle royal and succeed her foe as champion.

Lynch was +600 when I wrote about the market last night. She was behind Morgan (-275), Bianca Belair (+275) and Jade Cargill (+400) in the upper part of the twenty-two women list which was priced up.

The odds for every participant can be read in Yesterday's Post. Check out BetOnline's Wrestling Page for the latest markets.
