Stephanie McMahon Now 4/7 In SummerSlam Betting At Paddy Power

Stephanie McMahon has become a favourite in SummerSlam 2014 betting at PaddyPower.com.

When odds for this Sunday's pay-per-view were first published yesterday afternoon, she was a short outsider with even odds. Her opponent - Brie Bella - was priced up at 8/11.

Since that time, the sportsbook customers have evidently been placing wagers on McMahon as she is now 4/7 with Bella now at 5/4.

Brie remains a favourite at SkyBet.com with Stephanie still available at 11/10.

Odds correct as of 10:50am BST. For the latest, check both Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page and Sky Bet's WWE Betting Page.

  1. Im pretty sure that Stephanie will win this one!!! The genesis of the whole Bryan-Authority angle was very successful at Summerslam 2013. They will go forward with a further variation of that this year to in order to further the storyline. WWE Shop has even released a "Steph, Steph, Steph" shirt mimicking "Yes, Yes, Yes". 11/10 at Skybet - Banker, Banker, Banker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Ever since Brock Lesnar beat The Undertaker, I am reluctant to call anything a 'Banker' in professional wrestling betting.

However, I have been surprised to see Brie a favourite this week.

    2. What about Rusev V Swagger, guys? A Swagger victory would appease the family friendly crowd! Summerslam is the WWE's second biggest PPV of the year, and a patriotic victory would give a shot in the arm to the pro-Americana, WWE network subscribing audience. Rusev is due a loss anyway.. Come on David- thats a "Banker" .......actually, you are right- punter's are always taking risks when betting on wrestling. There is no sure thing!

    3. Sorry for not getting back as soon as I published the response.

The flag match is a perfect spot to have Rusev lose and not actually lose, so I agree with you.

Still not calling it a 'Banker', though!

    1. Not necessarily.

It's intriguing to see the prices the odds makers come up with and how they change once they are out there for the general bettors to wager on.

If you're looking at this only to know whether insiders have moved odds then, yes, the late stages of betting could be all you need.

  3. So, do you have any early betting tips, Keiran?

  4. I wouldn't touch any of the matches that are 50/50 (just look at the last ppv) the bankers will be the title matches and i reckon miz aj lee and brock lesnar will all win as well as wyatt and reigns the others are difficult to predict
