A Look At John Cena's Night Of Champions 2014 Betting Odds As Of Thursday Morning

John Cena's odds on winning this Sunday's main event at WWE Night of Champions 2014 have continued to shorten on the betting board at the 5Dimes Sportsbook.

When the market for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout initially came out, Cena was priced in the region of +500. Since that time, the number has descended indicating that the early bettors are expecting the former champion to avenge his SummerSlam loss to Brock Lesnar.

As of this morning, Cena can be backed at +325 (4.25 EU, 13/4 UK).

In the same betting period - despite still being a favourite to win on Sunday, Lesnar's price has drifted out from -900 to -475 (1.21 EU, 4/19 UK).

It's the late money that indicates which way a result goes. If the early bettors are correct, they're in for a decent return.

Odds correct as of 9am BST. WWE Night of Champions odds can be found under 'Other Sports' on the betting board at 5Dimes.com.

  1. A DQ victory for Cena, perhaps?

    1. Could go many ways, I reckon.

Cena wins after being beaten badly & Rollins cashes in is one I would not be surprised with.

Personally, hope Brock keeps the title all the way until WrestleMania, though.

  3. I believe that Heyman will interfere on Brock's behalf; Heyman seems to be gradually entering the storyline more and more. I hope that they don't chicken out and take the title off him before Wrestlemania. If they pay him more and make it worth his while, he can easily appear at more PPV's. He already appears at 3 or so throughout the year, so, it's not a huge step up financially to twist his arm and to make him appear at 5 or 6 PPV's. After Wrestlemania, he might leave again to compete in the UFC. He doesn't need to appear every week on Raw because Hogan never appeared on TV during the 80's- they could easily follow that business model for the next seven months or so!
