WWE Battleground 2015 Odds For Tuesday 30th June

With WWE Raw taking place last night, I made sure to record the WWE Battleground 2015 betting odds at both Betfair.com and 5Dimes.com to see whether anything on the show resulted in fans wagering on any of the selections for the July 19th pay-per-view.

There were no price changes in the markets available on the Betfair Sportsbook's website. They remain as they were yesterday.

The 5Dimes Sportsbook did see change in two of the match markets.

With Seth Rollins being all over the show bragging about what he and his cronies did to Brock Lesnar last Monday, the odds on Brock Lesnar shortened moving from -190 to -230.

Rollins is now +170 - a move from +150.

Kevin Owens backing out of another match with US Champion, John Cena, led to the latter being backed from -170 to -210.

Owens has drifted out to +160 from +130.

Instead of facing Owens on Raw, Cena put the title on the line against Cesaro. The match ended with Kevin Owens interfering to cost Cesaro the win. I suspect this was a set up for Saturday. Cesaro interfering in Owens' NXT Title defence against Finn Balor will give Owens an out when he drops the strap to Balor.

It could also set up an Owens .vs. Cesaro feud once he moves on from John Cena. Whether this rivalry will be over the US Championship is another thing.

  1. Sorry I don't understand who is favourite Cena or Owens?

    1. Hey Michele,

      Cena is favourite.

      It works out like this:

If a wrestler is minus (-) he is favourite. A selection that is plus (+) is the underdog.

John Cena's odds at -210 mean the bettor has to lay out $210 to make $100 profit.

With Kevin Owens (+160), the gambler makes $160 profit from a $100 bet.
