I recorded the prices for all of the selections when the market was first installed earlier this year and thought I'd share with you the present number and point out what the odds were originally. It's possibly the last chance I can do a big post like this because we're likely to get an idea on some of the names who will definitely be in the match next month.
What I also noticed when going through the odds today is the fact that some of the names from a few months ago are no longer on the list. I'll put them in a group at the bottom just to show you who's out.
Here are the selections and their current odds. The previous price will appear in parenthesis

Thoughts
So, of all the names on the list, it's only The Rock who remains at the price he opened at. As a guess, I would say that the adjusted lines are not all down to people having bets on the names. I would guess the way the wrestlers have been booked (or not booked) has forced the odds to be changed. For example, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson were not on WWE TV at the point they were on the original list, so - now that they're on TV - I could see the compilers decide that 250/1 on either wrestler is too much of a liability.
I've been predicting a Kevin Owens Money in the Bank win for quite some time, so am not surprised to see that he has moved into the role of favourite.
The other names I have gone for - and this was a while ago - are Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor.
Of the three, I am still rooting for Owens despite getting the better odds. I think his character is perfect for the Mr. Money in the Bank gimmick, More so than many of the previous winners, to be fair.
I'll leave you with all the other names that are no longer on the list. Expect more Money in the Bank posts soon.

I see orton as a good shot, especially at 14:1 price
ReplyDelete888sport are offering 7/1 for seth rollins to win the WWE title 'before or on MITB' - I have put a punt on this as even if Roman is the favourite going into the match, I don't think Seth's odds will ever hit 7/1. Especially considering he could win!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea.
DeleteI’ve written this and you are credited in it!
Cheers mate! Just figured it's very good odds and likely a mistake on their behalf allowing 7/1 when the match has been announced haha although deep down I have a feeling reign's... Well, reign isn't over yet
DeleteAnyone ever hold the briefcase twice? I don't see WWE repeating themselves with Orton or Rollins. Owens it is then.
ReplyDeleteGood shout, Mr Kaye! These are exactly the type of tips that make this place valuable.
CM Punk has won it twice.
DeleteAnd technically Edge..
