2 More WrestleMania Champions Markets From Paddy Power

The oddsmakers at PaddyPower.com have added 2 new 'WrestleMania Champions' betting markets for customers to have a bet on.

Clients can now wager on who they believe will be the respective women's champions at the close of WrestleMania 33.

The market for the Raw Women's Championhip is showing current titleholder, Bayley, as a 1/2 favourite. Former champ, Charlotte, is 10/11 while Nia Jax and Sasha Banks are 7/2 each.

There's little point looking beyond those four names as the rumoured match for the title at WrestleMani is a 4-way.

The Smackdown Women's Championship market has Becky Lynch favoured with a price of 4/6 while the current champ - Naomi - is in second at 6/4.

Former titleholder, Alexa Bliss, is 15/8.

Unlike with the Raw Women's Championship, I haven't read anything about a Smackdown title match for WrestleMania. This isn't to state that there won't be one.

Going by recent television, the company appears to be going all-in on Naomi being from Orlando and bringing the title to her home city for WrestleMania. This will certainly help in promoting the event through local media.

I've backed Naomi to leave Orlando with the title.

If there is a title match on the show, I think WWE will give Naomi the W as the hometown favourite. If there isn't a championship bout on the card, then it should work out simply because the company has put the strap on her with the intention of having her arrive home as titleholder.

Before you bet, it's worth noting that Naomi did injure her knee during when becoming Smackdown Women's Champion on Sunday at Elimination Chamber.

For those of you who would like to look outside of Naomi or the other runners near the top, I recommend discounting Nikki Bella and Maryse as they're being lined up for a mixed-tag team match involving their partners.

The market can be found under 'WrestleMania Champion Specials' on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.

  1. I'd love to see Nia Jax leave Wrestlemania as champion personally. But I'm biased towards preferring Heel champions haha

    1. If you like heel champions, you might enjoy the Mania match.

    2. Yep i can feel a lot of heel wins coming in. I just feel storylines are better with a heel champion. Look how entertaining Kevin Owens and Jericho have been and how great Smackdown was with AJ as champion and now Bray (although Bray is more of a anti-hero considering he has heel factors but is a big crowd favourite)
