4th Annual Andre The Giant Battle Royal Odds From Paddy Power

Betting odds for the 4th Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal were released by PaddyPower.com earlier today.

Just like last year's market, Braun Strowman is a favourite to win the match that will likely take place at WrestleMania 33 on April 2nd. The 2016 winner - Baron Corbin - is 8/1 to go for the repeat. However, I have a feeling he'll be in the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania.

Finn Balor, who has yet to return to action following an injury in August, is an interesting prospect at 16/1. I've written about this idea in other posts about this battle royal, but think he's worth a speculative punt if he hasn't returned to action by April 2nd.

In the aforementioned previous posts - I mentioned having a bet on Hulk Hogan. I've done the same today as I thought 50/1 was too high to turn down considering WWE has subtley been bringing Hogan's name back into play on WWE Network advertising. In my opinion, it's a matter of when - not if - Hogan comes back. Having him return as a surprise winner of the Andre the Giant Battle Royal might be a taking the fantasy booking a tad too far, though.

I can absolutely understand why Braun Strowman is a favourite to win. He doesn't appear to have a dance partner for WrestleMania, so - as of right now - the match now seems like a fit for him.

  1. Got to be Braun now. Monster amongst men and being the 2017 andre the giant memorial battle royal winner. Sounds good to me

    1. I feel like it's a step backward after the past few months.
