Bill Goldberg's odds to win the WWE Universal Championship match at Fast Lane in less than three weeks have taken a pounding.
A market for the upcoming Fast Lane main event have been available for nearly a week over at PaddyPower.com. It opened with current titleholder, Kevin Owens, 11/2 while the challenger was 1/12. The early betting went the way of Owens as his price was cut to 3/1 shortly thereafter.
It remained at that number right through to today when he jumped out to 7/1 after the oddsmakers were forced to cut Goldberg from 1/5 into 1/18.
I was surprised to have seen Owens backed in the early stages as I feel it's unlikely Goldberg will take a loss before doing so against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. Today's moves have strengthened this opinion.
The market can be found on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.
Unless lesnar is moving closer to full time i really hope he doesn't become champion at WM33. It makes it stale when the champion only shows up every now and then
ReplyDeleteHe won't be working full-time, but this year has more dates apparently.
