Mahal's Odds To Retain At SummerSlam 2017 Have Dipped

Jinder Mahal's odds to retain the WWE Championship at this year's SummerSlam have been cut overnight.

In a post published yesterday evening, I pointed out that the Kambi oddsmakers had installed a market that allowed customers to have a bet on whoever they thought would be WWE Champion at the close of the August 20th event.

Mahal was a 5/4 favourite when I first recorded the pricing. The selection has now dipped into 4/5.

The market also includes John Cena, Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin. Cena and Nakamura will wrestle on the next episode of WWE Smackdown to determine a number one contender to Mahal's strap.

Corbin is on the list because he's the holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase. As long as he's still carrying the briefcase, he will be a wild card in markets like these.

Who Will Be WWE Champion At SummerSlam 2017 Betting Odds For July 29th

With the WWE Champion's odds being snipped, the bookmakers have moved Shinsuke Nakamura up from 2/1 into 7/2.

Cena and Corbin remain where they were -  2/1 and 7/2 respectively.

This market can be found alongside other WWE odds on the websites that use Kambi's sports betting platform.
