My Time Proposition Bets For WWE TLC 2017

Earlier today, when Kambi's odds for WWE TLC 2017 were published, there were two markets that I was looking out for the most. They are the time proposition specials for Asuka versus Emma and the main event.

As per usual, I had predicted what the oddsmaker would put up and thought I'd share with you what I've bet on.

For the Asuka versus Emma match, I was hoping that the compiler would put the time at close to ten minutes and was going to take the under.

At the risk of repeating myself because I feel I've written this a lot today, the reason why I was planning to bet the under is because I feel Asuka's debut on the main roster has to be a one-sided bout and not as competitive as their meeting in London a couple of years ago.

Dave Meltzer, on one of the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio shows, felt that it should be around six minutes so - after hearing this, and knowing the Kambi oddsmaker must be a subscriber to the newsletter - I was anticipating the line to be published at 6:00.

Despite this, I was still planning to bet on the under.

As those of you who have seen the market for yourself will know, the line was set at eight minutes. It was a no-brainer for me. I backed the under when it was 9/10. As you'll see in the image below, the oddsmakers have now flipped the market with the 'Over 8' now at 9/10 and my selection cut to 4/5.

WWE TLC 2017 Time Proposition Betting

The other market in the image below is the time prop for the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match that will main event tomorrow night's show.

When I was thinking this one through, the number I predicted the Kambi oddsmaker to come up with was twenty-seven minutes. I was planning to bet over this amount. However, when the line went up - and as you can see above - the line was three-and-a-half minutes more than I had anticipated.

I've backed the 'Over' because it plays into something that has worked many times for me in the past and that is to bet over the line in matches that have a plethora of top stars. From the top of my head, it has worked the last two times that I've done this (the fatal five-way at Extreme Rules and the SummerSlam main event). It could be a case of third time unlucky, but that's why they call it gambling.

The odds have also been snipped for this selection as it has been moved from 4/5 into 7/10 since this morning.

These are the only time specials that I plan to bet on as of the time of writing. If I decide to do any more, I'll publish another post.

Prices correct as of 6pm and available from the websites that publish Kambi's WWE odds. A couple of examples can be found below:
