The clash of WWE's champions, not to be confused with next month's pay-per-view, between Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles - at this year's Survivor Series - was the highest rated match in Dave Meltzer's review of the show.
This week's issue of the Wrestling Observer, which features the report, was published earlier today. The editor gave the bout four-and-a-quarter stars. It beat out the main show's opener - The Shield versus The New Day - which came in second with three-and-three-quarters.
When Kambi's betting odds, where customers could have a punt on the match that would get the most stars in the review, were published. The favourite was the men's elimination match. It opened at 6/5 on Friday, but had been backed into 1/2 by Sunday night.
The winning selection started off at 3/1 but went out to 6s by the evening of the PPV.
You can view how the betting went from Friday morning to Sunday in the image below.
I wrote about the Over/Under markets this morning. You can read it in THIS POST.
A third market, where clients could bet on any match on the card earning high praise with a five star or more rating, which was 13/2, has obviously been settled as a loss.
That Men's elimination match was Awful
ReplyDeleteIt started well with couple of face offs but fell incredibly flat in the second half of the match
