Road To WrestleMania 34 Betting Odds Update For Early November

Kambi's 'Road to WrestleMania 34' betting markets were republished a few days ago. The last time I saw them available was in the middle of September, so I've updated the spreadsheet where I've been recording the odds changes.

Here's what I've noticed.

To Win Either Universal or World Championship
This market consists of names that could potentially win either the World or Universal Championship between the time of the bet being struck all the way to the close of WrestleMania 34. A winning bet will be graded if any of these selections were to win a title within this time-frame.

To Win Either WWE World Or Universal Championship Before Or By The End Of WrestleMania 34 Betting Odds

The market was republished on Thursday afternoon. This was a few hours before WWE announced that AJ Styles would wrestle Jinder Mahal on next week's edition of Smackdown. Following the news, Kambi removed almost everything about Styles. His name was taken off this board as well. He had been 1/10.

Other changes that have been made since September are:

  • Baron Corbin has drifted out to 2/1 from 6/4
  • Braun Strowman has moved up from 17/20 to 2/1
  • Bray Wyatt's odds have doubled from 5/1
  • Dean Ambrose has increased from 6s to 8/1
  • Finn Balor has been cut from 4/1 to 3/1. This is likely due to him reportedly being lined up to face Brock Lesnar in the near future. We'll see if this is the case as - in my opinion - I believe The Demon vs Demon Kane makes the most sense for a future program/match.
  • Roman Reigns' price has fallen from 1/40 to 1/50. Unsurprising considering it looks like he and Brock Lesnar will collide at WrestleMania 34.
  • Sami Zayn has jumped from 7/1 to 10/1
  • Samoa Joe has increased from 4/1 to 7/1
  • Seth Rollins had also moved from 4s to 7s
  • Shinsuke Nakamura - who was 1/14 before - has now drifted to 1/4. This is mainly because he has moved out of the title picture for the time being
  • The Miz has doubled from 5/1 to 10/1

Head-To-Heads
Another kind of 'Road to WrestleMania' betting markets are head-to-heads where the bookmaker has two wrestlers up against each other. The winning selection will be the grappler who wins either of the two major titles ahead of the other at any point from the bet being struck right up to the end of Mania. If neither man wins, the 'Neither Win Title' selection that is also available will be deemed the correct selection.

Here are the entries in my spreadsheet that have changed since mid-September along with notes below:

Road To WrestleMania 34 Head-To-Head Betting For November

Braun Strowman .vs. AJ Styles
The market where Braun Strowman and AJ Styles are competing to become either World or Universal Champion was republished a couple of hours before the announcement of Styles facing WWE Champion - Jinder Mahal - at Manchester on Tuesday night.
When they were previously available, both wrestlers were 11/10 while 'Neither' was 47/20. The odds for AJ Styles had been cut to 1/4 while the other options moved out.
The market was removed shortly after Thursday's announcement that Styles will challenge Jinder Mahal on Smackdown.

Dean Ambrose .vs. Seth Rollins
The current Raw Tag Team Champions were paired off earlier this year before they were reunited. With the team in the tag team mix, and on a brand with what looks like to be a dominant reign by Brock Lesnar (until Mania), the bookies have slashed the 'Neither' from 1/16 to 1/100.
As a result, they've put 'Seth Rollins' up to 4/1 from 7/2 but kept 'Dean Ambrose' at 10/1.

Kevin Owens .vs. Sami Zayn
Just like with Ambrose and Rollins, the bookies had Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn opposing each other in a head-to-head market long before they reconciled.
Kambi has cut the 'Neither' from 1/5 to 1/10, but have also snipped 'Kevin Owens' from 8/5 to 6/4.
Sami Zayn has drifted out to 33/1 from 25/1.

Roman Reigns .vs. John Cena
The Roman Reigns versus John Cena head-to-head wasn't republished along with the other markets on Thursday. It went back up at another point. However, today's pricing shows both 'John Cena' and 'Neither' moving down while 'Reigns' has drifted.
Cena went from 17/20 to 1/3 while 'Neither' went from 10/1 to 7s. The option to back Roman Reigns winning a championship ahead of Cena has raised from 3/5 to 6/5.
As I've written numerous times in the past, if the decision is made for John Cena's chase of a seventeenth world title to be a WrestleMania storyline, then this market could come down to match placement on the night because Roman Reigns is likely to win the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar during the show.
I'm surprised to see the 'Neither' option having been cut as I strongly believe one - if not two - will become a champion by the early hours of April 9th.

When available, the markets can be found alongside other WWE betting opportunities on the websites that release WWE odds from Kambi. A couple of examples can be found below.
