  1. Like you, I'm back with Cena. Nakamura has been pushed so weakly for the past couple months, I cannot see them reversing course and giving him such a big achievement when it feels as if they've given up on him as a potential top act. I think Jinder Mahal will re-gain the WWE Championship at Clash (a few reasons for this, which is a different post) and then retain it against AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble, setting up Cena to win the Rumble and take down Jinder at WrestleMania.

    1. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Nakamura versus Orton at Mania.

    2. I think so too mate. I actually predicted this match when they started their tag team after HIAC

I think Orton will turn heel on Nakamura next year Probably at Rumble or Fastlane

As for Mahal, my gut says he will go for US title at Wrestlemania since his Anti American character perfectly suits his US title. May be a fresh opponent like Roode vs Mahal

    3. I could easily see both Nakamura vs. Orton and Roode vs. Mahal. How would the rest of SmackDown shake out in that scenario? AJ would almost certainly be facing Cena in that case, unless those Daniel Bryan getting cleared rumors are true, but that's pie in the sky crazy and not worth getting into. Maybe Zayn and Owens challenge the Usos for the tag titles?

All comes down to still being on Cena for the Royal Rumble win.

    4. Even if we did entertain the Daniel Bryan thing, the logical match would be against Shane McMahon, so we still have Cena for the Rumble.

    5. Or a tag team match between Shane - Bryan vs Zayn - Owens

    6. Todd Williams I wonder what would Corbin do at Wrestlemania ?

    7. I can't see the tag match because I think Shane/DB are heading for a split of sorts.

    8. Yeah, that's true but I wonder if they will clear Bryan for a singles match with Shane. Shane's matches are always brutal

    9. I don't think they care about Corbin. Could see him in the Andre tbh

  2. It's surprising that people only think either Jinder vs Cena or Styles - Nakamura are possible title matches but Cena vs Styles is technically possible now

What do you think David ?

    1. I think there are a lot of people out there who think it'll be Cena vs Styles. Had a conversation with somebody only yesterday who believes this.
