Wrestle Kingdom 12 Odds Update For December 23rd (AM)

It has been nearly a day since I noted that the Kambi oddsmakers had released betting markets for New Japan Pro Wrestling's January 4th show.  In that time there have been a few changes made to the odds.

Tetsuya Naito is still a 1/3 favourite to defeat IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada. A win for the titleholder will pay out at odds of 2/1.

Along with a match market, the traders are also taking bets on how the match will be rated in Dave Meltzer's review of the event in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

For Naito versus Okada, the over/under line has been set at six stars.

As you can see, the bets have been coming in on the 'Under' as it is now 3/5 from 17/20. In yesterday's daily update on the Wrestling Observer Website, Dave Meltzer suggested the lines might be too high for this match and in the market for Kenny Omega's fight with Chris Jericho.

Omega .vs. Jericho has a line of 5 Stars. The punters have evidently sided with the 'Under' as it has been cut from EVENS into 1/2.

The match market has gone the way of Kenny Omega as his price has been slashed from 4/9 into 1/5.
