WrestleMania 34 Champions Update For February 11th

Another kind of WWE betting markets that were republished by the Kambi oddsmakers yesterday were the WrestleMania 34 specials where clients can have a punt on whom they believe will be holding either of the four major championships at the end of the April 8th event. In this post, I'll show you all four markets and point out how they differ from when I last looked through them in January.

WWE Raw Women's Championship
The 2018 women's Royal Rumble winner - Asuka - is a favourite in both the Raw and Smackdown Women's Championship markets. This is because, as of the time of writing, her WrestleMania title match is still unconfirmed. However, the majority of reports that I have read are pointing to her challenging Charlotte Flair for Smackdown's title.

I'll get to the Smackdown market below. For the moment, here are the Raw prices:

The aforementioned reports have Alexa Bliss defending the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Nia Jax. Therefore, both wrestlers being offered at 4/1, is quite appealing.

When I last checked in, Bliss was 5/1 and Jax was 8s.

Other adjustments that have been made are:

Ronda Rousey up from 4/5 to 6/4
Sasha Banks down from 10/1 into 6/4
Mickie James up from 33/1 into 66/1
Sonya Deville up from 15/1 into 66/1

The following names have been removed: Shayna Baszler, Stephanie McMahon, Kairi Sane, Alicia Fox, Dana Brooke.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship
As noted above, there are reports that Asuka could be on her way to Smackdown to challenge Charlotte Flair for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34.
This is because - in storyline - as Royal Rumble winner, she has a choice to decide which champion she can face at WrestleMania.

Asuka - who is 4/6 to be WWE Smackdown Women's Champion at the end of Mania - has been reinserted into this market. The last time 'Asuka' was an available option was in September when she was 7/2 ahead of her debut for the Raw brand.
Ms. Money in the Bank, Carmella, is also 4/6. Her price has drifted out from 1/2. I wrote in a post published yesterday about how I am intrigued Carmella's cash-in will go if Asuka gets to the strap before her.
The current titleholder, Charlotte Flair, has remained at 9/4 while last month's second-favourite, Ronda Rousey, has jumped up from EVS into 4/1.
Other selections that have moved out are Becky Lynch (4/1 to 11/2) and Nikki Bella (7/1 to 10/1).

The following selections have been taken off the board: Shayna Baszler, Stephanie McMahon. Ruby Riott, Kairi Sane, Natalya. Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan and Tamina.

WWE Universal Championship
It should come as no surprise to see Roman Reigns at the top of the market where customers can bet on the person who will leave New Orleans as WWE Universal Champion.

Reigns has been a 1/10 favourite since late-November.

The adjustments that have been made since last month are:

Braun Strowman down from 3/1 to 2/1
Brock Lesnar from 3/1 to 5/2
Finn Balor up from 5/1 to 7/1
John Cena from 8/1 to 7/1
The Undertaker up from 8/1 to 10/1
The Miz up from 40/1 to 50/1
Elias is a new addition at 66/1

The selections that have been removed are: Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, Jeff Hardy, Kenny Omega, Matt Hardy, The Rock, CM Punk, Kassius Ohno, Kurt Angle, Triple H and Bill Goldberg.

WWE Championship
With Shinsuke Nakamura winning the 2018 Royal Rumble and setting his sights on the WWE Championship, the oddsmakers have slashed his odds from 3/4 into 1/3 to be the titleholder coming out of WrestleMania 34.

WWE Champion After WrestleMania 34 Betting Odds

The current WWE Champion - AJ Styles - has stayed at 6/4. Two of his opponents at Fast Lane - Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn - have also stalled at their respective prices of 9/2 and 6/1.

The selections that have been adjusted are:

Daniel Bryan from 50/1 to 10/1
Baron Corbin from 33/1 to 20/1
Bobby Roode from 25/1 to 20/1
Randy Orton up from 17/1 to 20/1
Rusev from 25/1 to 20/1
Dolph Ziggler up from 8/1 to 25/1
Jinder Mahal from 25/1 to 50/1

Here are the wrestlers taken off the board: John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H, Kenny Omega, CM Punk and The Rock.

Prices correct as of 10th and 11th February. Images taken from Unibet's WWE Betting Page.

  1. Do you think Nia Jax is gonna win the elimination chamber to set up Alexa Vs Nia Jax at Wrestlemania for the Raw women's title?

    1. She isn't in the Elimination Chamber. She's wrestling Asuka in a singles match on the show and - if she wins - she gets added to the women's match.

Not sure how they get there, but Asuka has to win that match and then they'll find a way to get to Nia .vs. Alexa when Asuka chooses to go against Charlotte.

    2. Ohh right. Interesting..

Although now I'm worried WWE are going to do something strange, like end Asuka's undefeated streak to make Wrestlemania more unpredictable etc.

  2. Confirmed - Kurt Angle announced Ronda Rousey is signing a WWE Raw contract. Asuka Vs Charlotte or Rousey is looking very likely.

    1. I believe the contract signing is going to turn into an angle with Stephanie McMahon.

Asuka .vs. Rousey doesn't make sense anymore. Not with Asuka having a title shot.
