How NXT TakeOver: Chicago Betting Went This Week

It's a little under an hour to go until NXT TakeOver: Chicago. The Kambi and Sky Bet markets for the event closed a few hours ago, so I thought I'd go through all of the prices I was able to catch over the days the two firms were taking bets on the show.

Ricochet .vs. Velveteen Dream
The Kambi oddsmakers installed Ricochet as a favourite when they put the market up for his match with Velveteen Dream. As you can see in the table below, he was 1/2 when I first came across the market on Tuesday and was down to 2/5 by 8PM BST on Saturday evening.

Sky Bet had Ricochet at 8/15 on Wednesday, but they were offering him at a shorter 8/5 on Saturday.
For the record, Sky had Dream at 11/8 but moved him to 7/4 in the same period.

Shayna Baszler .vs. Nikki Cross

The champion was backed into 1/4 by Saturday morning while the challenger drifted to 5/2 from 2/1 across the four days.

Sky had Baszler at 2/7, but was offering her at 2/9 within three days. Cross went up from 5/2 to 3/1.

The Undisputed Era .vs. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch
NXT's tag champs - The Undisputed Era - were 2/9 when Sky Bet posted odds for the match on Wednesday. Just like with the previous matches I've written about, the punters backed the faves as they were 1/7 by Saturday night.
Their opponents, Lorcan and Burch, went from 3/1 up to 4/1 in this time.

Kambi's odds can be found in the table below:

The fave was initially 21/50 but was as short as 2/13 by Saturday morning. His opponent, Sullivan, moved to 7/2 from 33/20 across the four days.

Sky had Sullivan drift from 2/1 to 3/1 when Black fell from 4/11 to 2/9.

Tommaso Ciampa .vs. Johnny Gargano
The favourites being backed went 5-0 in this round of NXT betting as Tommaso Ciampa - who opened at 8/13 and 11/20 with Sky Bet and Kambi respectively, closed at shorter odds.

Sky Bet had him Ciampa at 8/15 and Kambi had him at 1/3 on Saturday.

Enjoy the show if you're watching!
