Owens And Ziggler Snipped In SummerSlam Betting

Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler have had their respective prices snipped in the SummerSlam 2018 betting markets that are available from the 5Dimes Sportsbook since this morning.

For Owens, the bookmakers have moved his price down from +250 into +210 for his bout with Braun Strowman.

This year's Money in the Bank winner remains a favourite, but has moved up from this morning's -350 into -290.

Ziggler is another underdog the 5Dimes oddsmakers have lowered. His price has been taken down from +160 into +140.

With the Intercontinental Champion's price being lowered, the linemaker has moved Seth Rollins to -180. This is up from the -210 he had been since Wednesday.

The rest of 5Dimes' SummerSlam markets are showing the same pricing as the start of the day. You can read all about these markets in THIS POST. Alternatively, you can CHECK OUT THE 5DIMES WEBSITE.

Prices correct as of 5PM BST.

  1. Imo there has to be some sort of pay off to KO after all of those falls/beatings he has taken.

Thrown off a ladder through tables, Thrown of a cage through a table and thrown off the stage in a porta potty.

Im sticking with my Day 1 prediction that Corbin helps KO and he cashes in on Reigns. Corbin needs to get one back on Reigns after those punches he took on RAW.

    1. Granted, you were on Kevin Owens on day one. However, you moved to Strowman and are now back on Owens. What made you change your mind because you for sure had Strowman as your pick following this week's episode of Raw?

  2. I changed for a silly reasons tbh.

I changed because Strowman got counted out twice against Mahal and because AJ vs Joe will likely end in a DQ so I doubted WWE would do 2 matches ending in a DQ and we have already seen Braun getting counted out twice.

But im not changing again lol as mentioned above if KO doesnt win the contract then the storyline was bury Kevin Owens as much as you can until he has no credibility left.

Just going with my gut feeling.

    1. Ahh, but it'll also bury Strowman for not cashing in on the two opportunities he has had..

    2. Im not so sure tbh. Braun is over and if KO wins by Corbin attacking him then Braun doesn't lose any credibility because he was screwed out of the contract.

But if KO lost then he is done for. He's been Strowman's punch bag since the shake-up considering KO signed a new 5 year deal with WWE this year if KO doesn't win the contact then the booking has been baffling.

If Braun did beat KO then I don't know if he will successfully cash in tbh.

KO said on RAW 'I will not stop until I have taken everything away from you'

I could see KO interfering and costing Braun if he did try to cash in on Lesnar/Reigns.

After all of those falls I cant see KO sitting back and watching Braun become champion after everything Braun has put him through.

    3. I'll entertain the KO thing.

The only way I can see it working is if he wins the briefcase tomorrow night and then they have KO and Heyman as a pairing with KO winning the title from Lesnar.

I'd rather Heyman turn on Lesnar and side with Reigns tomorrow night if any of these wild ideas are coming to fruition.

    4. If they're keeping Reigns babyface, they should have him get the win over Lesnar and not have a cash-in tomorrow.

    5. I agree. That's how I would book it. But I doubt WWE would lol.

Roman has to beat Brock for the Universal Championship otherwise the storyline has been a waste of time. No cash in during the match just Roman going over with a clean win.

  3. I could see that as well David. KO's best work is when he's paired with someone. Sami Zayn / Chris Jericho.

I like your theory on Heyman turning and siding with KO. Owens could then brag about how he beat Lesnar and Reigns couldn't. WWE continues trying to get Reigns over as a babyface by making him chase down Owens for the Universal Championship.

I agree Roman has to get the win against Brock and he will imo but WWE knows that this will more than likely get a negative reaction so they do a cash in to send the crowd home happy.

If Braun cashes in then you have to do Braun vs. Roman. Either Braun turns heel and you throw away the company's No.2/3 babyface when everyone will still chant 'Get these hands' or you turn Roman heel and the last 2 years of trying to get fans to cheer for Reigns has been pointless.

I can honestly see Corbin getting his own back on Reigns for those backstage punches by helping KO to the title.

Brock Lesnar attacks Paul Heyman the next night on RAW out of frustration and heads off to the UFC after quitting WWE whilst Heyman is written off Television through injury.

    1. I’m not buying the ‘they have to do the cash-in to send the crowd happy’ narrative. It only exists because of what they did at Mania 31. Reigns hasn't been moved down the card in that time (barring that time when he was suspended).
If they truly felt concerned about negativity, Reigns wouldn’t have been placed back in that spot following WrestleMania and Greatest Royal Rumble.
If they truly are concerned, then the result they must do is have a double turn and have Reigns with Heyman to close out the show.

    2. I agree.

It's Brooklyn so Reigns will get booed. Im all for your theory. I would like to see that tbh.

    3. While I'm in this ranting tangent...

The 'Coronation' thing is another one that irks me! His first WWE Championship win was the coronation!!

Does that one bother you at all?

  4. Who's coronation? Kevin's Universal Coronation on RAW a couple of years ago?

    1. Nah, people saying Reigns winning the Universal Championship will be his coronation.

    2. Sorry David I got confused for a second.

Depends which way WWE decide to portray the titles and the way the fans portray them.

Different titles by name but the majority would class them both as World titles.
