Post-Raw SummerSlam 2018 Odds

Last night, I published a post a little under two hours ahead of WWE Raw where I wrote about the latest SummerSlam 2018 odds from the 5Dimes Sportsbook. The plan, as always, was to return to the sportsbook's website the following morning - once I had watched the show - to see if anything that was said or done during the episode had forced any of the markets to be adjusted.

Well, as far as Raw goes, none of the matches specific to that brand were altered overnight. In fact, only one market is showing different pricing when contrasted to yesterday's 11PM visit.

The market of note is the one for a Smackdown grudge match.

Date/Time
Daniel Bryan
The Miz
8/8 10:00PM
+130
-170
9/8 10:00PM
-105
-135
13/8 11:00PM
"

14/8 11:00AM

-165

As you can see in the table above, The Miz went from -135 into -165 since 11PM. His opponent for Sunday, Daniel Bryan, has drifted out to +125 from -105.

Here are the other prices, for those who may have missed last night's update:

  1. After Dean's return, I have a feeling that he will turn heel and Ziggler retains.

Therefore, Ambrose - Rollins rivalry starts. This feud doesn't need IC title where as a guy like Finn Balor can challenge Dolph Ziggler for IC title and win. balor needs IC title more than anyone.

    What do you think ?

    1. I think it’s too soon and that it’s a match they’d want for WrestleMania (like they were going to do this year).

    2. Wouldn’t surprise me if it happens, though. But it should be a Mania feud and not some throwaway autumn feud.

    3. Yeah, It's definitely a Wrestlemania feud but I have a feeling they will do Roman vs heel Ambrose at Wrestlemania for Universal title Where as Seth might go to Smackdown.

    1. You weren't annoying. I couldn't answer your question until I knew for sure. I have been told they are doing them, but I was unable to publish a post this time because I didn't get confirmation.

    2. ^ didn't get confirmation until later than I had hoped.

  3. Agree with David.

This is a big money match and it's too big for a throwaway PPV.

If Ambrose does turn on Rollins then it will be after the match whilst Rollins is celebrating his title win.

I don't see a turn happening though. No point wasting the feud this early. HIAC, Throwaway event in Australia then Survivor Series when all the focus is to do with RAW v SmackDown matches.

just doesn't seem the right time to have a Ambrose vs Rollins match.

    Save it for WrestleMania.
