205 Live ended with WWE Cruiserweight Champion - Cedric Alexander - beating Jack Gallagher in a non-title match. In the post-match, Alexander's opponent for Sunday - Drew Gulak - put the champ in the Gu-Lock as the show went off the air.
When I last checked the odds last night, both wrestlers were at -120 pick 'em. It appears, by today's prices. that Gulak has been backed.

As you can see, Gulak is now at -140 while Alexander has been pushed up to +100.
In last night's post, I highlighted Dolph Ziggler's odds to successfully retain the Intercontinental Championship had dipped from +205 into +165.
With Ziggler's price moving in, the bookies moved Seth Rollins to -215 from -285. However, since publishing, the punters have landed back on the challenger.

Odds from 5Dimes.
I think the punters are going to come out on top by a long way.
ReplyDeleteThese vast majority of these odds are correct imo.
I added Balor @ 8/13 to my list of bets after Corbin laid him out on RAW.
AJ may get himself DQ'd but the entire Nakamura feud was built around dodgy finishes so WWE has to be careful when booking AJ now otherwise his title reign is going to be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
The New Day are the best value on SummerSlam weekend imo. Bludgeon's are now beating up on SDLive every week just to get them on the show. Nothing else they can do as Champions. All very repetitive and stale.
Other than that I think everything else is correct. I think Strowman is winning now. I backed Owens but I think that bet has gone down the drain lol.
After watching backstage segment of AJ and Joe on Smackdown, i definitely think there will be some non finish like DQ or Count out and feud extends inside HIAC.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looking like it now, just like it did the moment Joe brought the family into it.
DeleteJust saw a backstage video of AJ having to be held back from attacking Joe.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you now David. I have also backed AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe to end in DQ or Count out. 11/4 and 22/1 respectively.
We know the feud is continuing at HIAC.
I cant see Joe beating AJ clean after mentioning his family.
A roll up fluke win doesn't make that much sense considering how personal this storyline has got.
The signs were there weeks ago regarding how the match was headed.
DeleteDid Monday make you consider Reigns winning by submission at all?
Joe will win by DQ. So I will lose my AJ bet but I have covered the DQ and Count Out and they are a much bigger pay out options.
DeleteWill add another prediction that Joe doesn't win at HIAC either after Summerslam AJ must be close to breaking CM Punks title reign and Vince will realise this and would want to get CM Punk off the record books imo due to bad blood between the two.
I just don't see Lesnar tapping out. Roman has to win otherwise he is done for. Think Roman wins by multiple spears tbh.
He doesn't have to tap out.
DeleteGood point.
DeleteRoman doesn't have any submission moves though so I cant see it happening.
WWE wont have Roman pass out again after all of this un crowned Universal Champion stuff.
If a cash in happens during the match then that's poor because WWE done that a WM31 with Rollins.
Straight up Reigns win via multiple spears imo. Maybe a cash in after the match is my prediction.
Pretty sure John Cena and The Undertaker didn't have submission moves when they pulled out their respective STF and Hell's Gate in big matches.
Delete^ Two of many examples.
DeleteTrue. Roman may pull something out of the bag. You never know.
DeleteI'm just going with the predictable WWE logic ending with the spears.
I love Ziggler at +180. I think Ambrose is going to turn heel and cost Rollins the match. He even grew an evil beard!
ReplyDeleteI'm also heavily considering a punt on Bliss, though with Jim Neidhart's death worked into the angle it seems less likely than it did a couple days ago that Natalya would cost Rousey.
If I thought Ambrose was turning on Rollins in that match, I would immediately discount a similar kind of result in the other. And vice versa.
DeleteWill also add that it's likely Aiden English turns heel on the pre show so I doubt they will do 2 turns in one night.
DeleteAiden vs Rusev seems like the plan going forward. So Aiden deliberately costing Rusev and Lana would kick start the feud.
Obviously there's a chance Dean turns but it's not the right time for me as I said the other day HIAC, Throw away house show in Australia and Survivor Series are the next 3 PPV's.
The build up to Survivor Series and the show itself is heavily focused around SD vs. Raw. Therefore Dean vs. Seth wouldn't get the spotlight it deserves.
Rollins vs Ambrose needs the spotlight and a big stage to hold that match. The next 3 PPV events don't fit the bill for me. It's a must see feud like The Miz vs Daniel Bryan and it shouldn't be wasted and rushed through.
Also if Ambrose was to turn at SummerSlam Rollins' credibility could be in a bit of bother going forward. Seth has lost to Ziggler and been on the recieving ends of beatdowns by DZ and Drew for the last month and a half and he would have to lose against Ambrose as well seeing as it would be Dean's first feud back from injury.
That would leave Rollins in a tricky situation booking wise imo. No more title matches. Back to back feud's lost. He could easily end up with the Finn Balor treatment.
Save the feud. I think we get a couple of Seth & Dean vs. DZ & Drew matches before anyone turns.
