A Mistake
I screwed up with one of the bets I placed. I was looking to do something else and placed a wager on the Intercontinental Championship match going below fifteen minutes. The odds for this were 19/20. I'll just have to accept the mistake. If I was seriously considering betting properly on this match, I would have backed the over.
The US Championship Time Duration Bet
The reason for the aforementioned mess up is because I was hellbent on betting the Under in the United States Championship match. I think it's quite clear that Randy Orton is plotting to ruin the match, so wanted to bet on the match going short. The bookmaker has obviously got the same mindset as he has put the line up at Nine Minutes (and also has the Observer star rating line set at 2.50).
Who's On First?
There is a market where customers can place bets on the match they believe will start the main portion of the PPV. I backed two bouts - Baron Corbin .vs. Finn Balor (3/1) and the Smackdown Tag Team Championship (5/1).
What's On Last?
Customers can also wager on what the final match of the night will be. I haven't bet on any of the selections. The Universal Championship match is a rightfully a 1/7 favourite. The odds are far too short for my liking, but I would have backed the favourite if I were forced to choose one.
The only other alternative - and it's a long shot, in my opinion - is AJ Styles versus Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship at 11/4.
Should a cash-in take place following Brock Lesnar .vs. Roman Reigns, the winning selection will still be 'Universal Championship' as the rules state 'impromptu/unannounced matches will not be taken into consideration'. And yes, I know the Universal Championship will technically be on the line if - and I still believe it's a big IF - there is a Money in the Bank cash-in tomorrow night.
I think you have a good bet on New Day Bludgeon's David.
ReplyDeleteWWE will want to start the night off with a feel good moment and New Day certainly fits that role.
