Raw Tag Team Championship Match Favourite To Be HIAC 2018 Opener

The oddsmakers from Kambi have made the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match - that's scheduled to take place at tonight's Hell in a Cell - the sole favourite to be the opening match of the main card.

A betting market, where customers can punt on what will be the event's opener, was first published on Thursday with the current favourite at 6/4.

The market was readjusted following the announcement that the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match will be contested on the Kick Off event leading into the main card.

As a result of the change, 'Raw Tag Team Championship' was snipped from 6/4 into 5/4. Then - following yesterday's wagers - the bookies have reopened the market with the selection at 4/5.

WWE HIAC 2018 Opener Betting

Personally, I think there's a good chance of this match NOT being the opener.  The reasoning is simple - there''s a tag title match on the Kick Off. I feel those working on the layout of the card would choose something else instead of going with back-to-back tag title bouts.

I have no intention of betting on this market. If I were to, I'd look beyond the favourite and remove the bouts I believe will be best suited for later in the night.

By process of elimination, I am left with. And I guess they are in order of my instinct.

Mixed Tag
Smackdown Women's Championship
Raw Women's Championship (I could flip-flop the two women's title matches, but I have a feeling Rousey/Bliss will get the semi-final spot on the card sandwiched between the WWE Championship and Universal Championship contests)
Hardy .vs. Orton (Only because I believe they'll space the two HIAC matches apart from each other and I think the Universal Championship match will main event the show)
