Kambi's HIAC 2018 Observer Lines Published

The Kambi oddsmakers have added Wrestling Observer Newsletter star rating markets to their coverage of this weekend's WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 PPV.

Customers can place bets on the highest amount of stars that Dave Meltzer rates the matches on Sunday's card, the match that earns the most stars in Meltzer's review of the event and there are also Over/Under lines for all of the scheduled matches.

Here are the selections and prices that are available for those looking to bet on the exact amount of stars the highest rated match of the night receives.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Observer Star Rating Betting

As you can see, 'Exactly 4.5 Stars', 'Exactly 4.25 Stars' and 'Exactly 4.0 Stars' are joint-favourites with prices of 7/4.

AJ Styles .vs. Samoa Joe tops the market where clients can punt on the match they believe will receive the best review.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2018 Observer Star Rating Betting

As you can see, it's EVENS. Next up, the bookies have two joint-second favourites in the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match (Ziggler and McIntyre .vs. Ambrose and Rollins) and the Hell in a Cell match between WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman.

Charlotte Flair's WWE Smackdown Women's Championship defence against Becky Lynch is 6/1. Those looking for anything outside of the mentioned bouts can pick 'Any Other Match' at 5/1.

The Over/Under lines for all of the scheduled matches are:

Jeff Hardy .vs. Randy Orton  - 3 Stars
Mixed Tag Team Match - 1.75 Stars
WWE Raw Tag Team Championship - 4 Stars
WWE Raw Women's Championship - 2.25 Stars
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship - 3 Stars
WWE Smackdown Women's Championship - 3.5 Stars
WWE Universal Championship - 4 Stars
WWE Championship - 4.25 Stars

As soon as I publish this post, I plan to place a bet on Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella .vs. The Miz and Maryse to go over 1.75 Stars at EVENS. Bryan and Miz could easily carry the workload in this match and I think the bookie has set this far too low.

These markets will be settled next week when the issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter featuring Dave Meltzer's Hell in a Cell review is published.

  1. What do you think will be MOTN ?

I think it's WWE title match closely followrd Raw tag team title match

    1. Yeah, I think so. Was thinking about doing 'Any Other' just for the odds in case Hardy .vs. Orton turns out to be the sleeper.

    2. I think they will open the show with Orton vs Hardy like they opened with New Day vs USOS last year

What do you think will be Orton's next feud ?

    3. Haven't really given it any thought because I think he'll still be in the mix with Hardy/Nakamura for the time being.

  2. I think the RAW Tag Team Championship match opens the show.

All 4 superstars are bound to get involved in the main event so I expect the Tag Team title match to take place early in the night.

  3. Think Jeff will be written off TV on Sunday to heal his injuries. You get the feeling he's going to do a high risk move that will backfire that will result in a injury storyline.

Randy to feud with Daniel Bryan next. SD only has 3 credible babyfaces at the moment. AJ, Jeff and Bryan

Not feuding with AJ as he is more than likely going to feud with The Miz imo.

Nakamura will feud with Rusev imo. WWE needs another babyface singles competitor to face Nakamura as he is directionless at this moment in time.

I think Rusev Day will be splitting up at HIAC after losing to The New Day. English and Rusev have been far too nicey nicey with each other lately and English will turn on Rusev after the match as i said WWE is in need of another babyface singles competitor on the SD brand as it's unbalanced at the moment.

Heel - Miz, Orton, Joe, Shinsuke & Almas
Face - AJ, Bryan & Jeff

    1. Too many holes in some of those narratives.

    2. If Rusev and English break up at HIAC (and I don't think they will for now, but I'll entertain you), why would they immediately go to Nakamura .vs. Rusev?

  4. Two options imo.

    1. Rusev beats English clean on SDLive a couple of times before ShowDown and Paige says Nakamura must defend the title at ShowDown as he didn't defend it at HIAC so she hand picks Rusev. (WWE Logic)

    Or

    2. Nakamura doesn't wrestle at Show Down as well as HIAC and fades off for a few more weeks and we get Rusev v English at ShowDown where Rusev finishes off English and we get Rusev v Nakamura going forward.

The way I look at it is this.

WWE has already done Nakamura vs AJ and Nakamura vs Jeff.

so we are left with 2 options for Nakamura
Nakamura vs Bryan or Nakamura vs Rusev as I don't see Nakamura turning babyface again so soon after turning heel. I also don't see Joe or Almas turning face.

Randy has to feud with someone else after HIAC this is the last match vs Jeff as you cant top the HIAC match and his current gimmick is about taking out all of the WWE Universe's heroes and Bryan is one of the biggest.

AJ vs Miz - WWE Championship feud.

Randy vs Bryan - Orton's next stop in his quest to take down the fans favourites.

Rusev vs Nakamura - WWE United States Championship.

Cien Almas vs Rey Mysterio once Rey sings the WWE contract. This is a lock feud imo.

Samoa Joe vs Jeff Hardy after Show Down as Joe will not get another WWE Championship match and WWE won't have Joe go after United States Championship as Nakamura is a heel.

    1. Too much fantasy booking here.

    2. Agree it's all based off my predictions for HAIC and Show Down. Therefore it's what I think will happen.

  5. There is a lot of holes I agree but I see AJ retaining the Championship throughout the Joe feud.

I don't buy AJ losing at HIAC and his rematch takes place at SSD.

WWE can easily have AJ win clean at HIAC and on Tuesday have AJ cut a promo about beating Joe and a video package play's on the tron showing Joe at AJ's house to antagonizing a reaction which he succeeds so that results in AJ vs Joe again at SSD.
