2 Bets I've Requested And Backed

I sent in a couple of WrestleMania 35 RequestABet ideas to Sky Bet and they have now been put up on-site.

The ideas came to me recently when I was trying to work out how current and upcoming storylines could build to a Roman Reigns .vs. Seth Rollins .vs. Dean Ambrose match for the Universal Championship on April 7th.

As you may have read in the most recent post, Seth Rollins is one of my favourites to win the World Cup tournament at WWE Crown Jewel. I am hopeful that Rollins becoming the 'Best in the World' will lead to further tension within the Shield.

But that's not all.

When trying to come up with ways this could work out if Rollins wins the World Cup in November, I arrived to the scenario where Dean Ambrose wins the Royal Rumble and decides to challenge Roman Reigns. I then needed to think of a way to include Seth Rollins. Having the bragging rights from the World Cup win could be one way, but I thought of another way to get Rollins and Ambrose to compete for the Universal Championship in April.

I ended up having to request two different scenarios.

The first market, which has been priced at 150/1, needs the following three things to happen:

  • Rollins to win the World Cup
  • Dean Ambrose to win the 2019 Royal Rumble
  • Reigns to beat Ambrose and Rollins at WrestleMania 35
The second requires a lot more as it needs the following to come in at 250/1.
  • Rollins to win the World Cup
  • Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to be the co-winners of the Royal Rumble
  • Reigns .vs. Rollins .vs. Ambrose to main event WrestleMania 35
The odds should reflect how much of a long-shot these ideas are, but I've placed small bets on both.
