Mania 35 Main Event Betting For December 1st

Kambi's WrestleMania 35 main event betting market was republished today with some new selections for customers to ponder.

In this post, I'll note all of the selections that are available to bet on, point out whether they're new or old and share some thoughts.

Starting with the bottom of the list we have...

Bobby Lashley .vs. Brock Lesnar
This selection has drifted out from 12/1 into 40/1. I guess a good reason why is due to the fact that Lesnar is reportedly due to wrestle Seth Rollins on the card.

Any Match Featuring Conor McGregor
Still at 33/1. McGregor threw his support to Becky Lynch on Twitter the other day. That's as close as we're going to get to him and WWE at the moment.

Any CM Punk Match
This selection has moved out from 17/1 into 33/1. Not likely in the current climate.

Braun Strowman .vs. Bobby Lashley
Strowman .vs. Lashley has risen to 25/1 from 12s. I suppose there is a very slim chance of this match happening at WrestleMania due to Strowman being involved in a feud with Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. The chance of this being a main event is even slimmer, though.

Alternative price: You can find this selection at double the price at Sky Bet.

Batista .vs. Triple H
The odds for a Batista versus Triple H match to main event WrestleMania 35 have risen to 25/1 from 20/1. I guess this is due to Triple H's pectoral injury. Even so, if this match were to happen, it will be an attraction and not the main event.

Daniel Bryan .vs. Braun Strowman
This selection has stalled at 20/1. It doesn't feel to me as a WrestleMania main event. Especially with Daniel Bryan as a heel and Strowman as a babyface.

Alternative price: this is 50/1 with Sky Bet.

Brock Lesnar .vs. John Cena
Another selection that has stayed at 20s. If the reports of Lesnar .vs. Rollins being a Mania match weren't out there, I would have considered this as a possibility as it plays into my idea of Cena going for the seventeenth world title.

Alternative price: Sky Bet is offering this at 25/1

Braun Strowman .vs. Brock Lesnar .vs. Drew McIntyre
This is a new entry at 15/1. One of these guys is the odd man out and it's Brock Lesnar.

Any Kenny Omega Match
The selection for a match featuring Kenny Omega has slipped from 17/1 into 15/1. I am sure Omega is involved in what ever Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are doing with a new promotion, so cannot picture Omega in WWE let alone the WrestleMania 35 main event in 2019.

Daniel Bryan .vs. The Miz
This is a new selection that has been installed at 10/1. It plays to one of the many Mania fantasy ideas that have been circulating in that the Daniel Bryan versus Miz feud would conclude at Mania. The theory has now evolved to heel Bryan versus babyface Miz for the WWE Championship. I think Miz will face Shane McMahon at Mania, but I would like to see this match with the new dynamic just to see how the fans would take to it. With that said, I doubt it's the Mania main event even if it is planned for the show.

AJ Styles .vs. Daniel Bryan
Has understandably drifted out to 10/1 from 7s. We've seen this match on regular TV three times this year. We'll see it at Tables, Ladders  and Chairs and could see it again at the Royal Rumble depending on how the TLC match goes. I doubt it'll be the main event of WrestleMania.

Daniel Bryan .vs. John Cena
This is a new addition at 17/2 and is the match that I would like to see at WrestleMania. It plays into that theory/opinion I've been going on about for ages about John Cena's chase for the seventeenth world title. Even if this does turn out to be the Mania match, I can absolutely see this being passed up as a main event for another match on the card. Also - if WWE is going back to Saudi Arabia post-Mania, then that might work against the match happening considering both wrestlers refused to work the Crown Jewel event and one will be WWE Champion coming out of Mania.

Charlotte Flair .vs. Ronda Rousey
The selection has dropped from 10/1 into 6/1.
This was what many thought would be the WrestleMania main event. However, following Becky Lynch's injury a few days before the Survivor Series, the company was forced to put this match on the November PPV instead with reports indicating that Becky will get her moment against Rousey at WrestleMania.
The post-match beatdown by Flair following Ronda Rousey's disqualification win has obviously set up a rematch that has a strong chance of happening at the Royal Rumble if Flair is the WWE Smackdown Women's Champion in January.

Brock Lesnar .vs. Drew McIntyre
This has drifted out from 5/1 into 6/1. It's another one that I've seen fans predict as being a potential Mania match, but it now contrasts with the reports that Lesnar is set to grapple Seth Rollins.

Alternative Odds: Sky Bet is offering this selection at 25/1.

Becky Lynch .vs. Charlotte Flair .vs. Ronda Rousey .vs. Nia Jax
This match is new and has been installed at 5/1. It includes all of the women that have been linked in the fallout from the Survivor Series match change. Nia Jax, who injured Becky Lynch on the go-home episode of Raw before the Survivor Series, will likely be the person who is last eliminated by Becky Lynch in the Royal Rumble. Being linked to Lynch, Flair and Rousey in this selection is the closest Nia Jax will get to being talked about as being in the Mania main event.

I hope I don't regret writing that last sentence.

Any Match Featuring The Rock
This selection has continued to drift out. When I last checked in, it was 3/1 but is now up to 5s.
I've written quite a bit about The Rock and WrestleMania. There's a BS story going around about Rock winning the Rumble, beating Lesnar at Mania and then dropping the Universal strap back to Lesnar in Saudi Arabia. Not happening. Especially now if the current plan happens and it's Lesnar versus Rollins at Mania.

AJ Styles .vs. Brock Lesnar
This is now down to 5/1 from 7/1, but contradicts the Lesnar .vs. Rollins plan.

Alternative Odds: Sky Bet lists this selection at 25/1.

Any Match Featuring The Undertaker
This selection has risen to 4/1 from 6/4. I think we've seen the last of The Undertaker in a WrestleMania main event, so the selection drifting is understandable.

Braun Strowman .vs. Drew McIntyre
Still 3/1. Whether Braun Strowman is Universal Champion or not, I would not be surprised if this is one of the matches at Mania. However, I would be surprised if it goes last.

Braun Strowman .vs. Brock Lesnar
This selection has drifted out from 2/1 into 5/2. It's understandable considering the current plan is for these two to meet at the Royal Rumble.

Becky Lynch .vs. Charlotte Flair .vs. Ronda Rousey
I cannot write about this selection without mentioning the favourite - Ronda Rousey .vs. Becky Lynch.
A one-on-one between Lynch and Rousey is favourite because it's the match that has apparently been pencilled in following Lynch's injury last month. According to reports, Charlotte Flair was meant to be Ronda Rousey's dance partner for WrestleMania before the plan was changed to Rousey .vs. Lynch. Personally, I think it makes sense for Rousey .vs. Lynch to be the Mania main event. However, and as I've mentioned in previous posts, I can't shake off the feeling that Charlotte Flair will end up being in the mix. I think it's mainly me feeling sorry for Flair as she missed out on being in the first women's Royal Rumble because she was the champion last year and now outside forces have resulted in her potentially missing another historic moment, if the plan was for her to be in the Mania main event.
For what it's worth, Kambi has this at 5/2.

Alternative Odds: Sky Bet is offering 6/1.

Brock Lesnar .vs. Seth Rollins
This is another new selection and it has been installed because of the reports that this is one of the matches planned to take place in April. The selection is a 7/4 second-favourite.

Alternative Odds: Sky Bet has this selection at 10/1.

Rousey .vs. Lynch
This selection was 3/4 in November and has now been moved up to EVS. I believe this is  the correct favourite, but think the triple threat should be in the conversation as a close second.

Alternative Odds: Sky Bet's price for this match to be the main event is 6/5.
