Sky Bet has released betting markets for two of the matches that are so far scheduled for the WWE Elimination Chamber show that will take place on February 17th.
They've installed WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions - The Miz and Shane McMahon - as 1/3 favourites over The Usos, who qualified as number one contenders in a fatal 4-way match on last night's edition of Smackdown.
The challengers have been priced at 9/4.
I cannot picture the champions dropping their titles until the following PPV, WWE FastLane, as it will take place in Miz's home area of Cleveland, Ohio. I'm going to guess from here that there will be some sort of angle involving Miz's father who has been with them at the Royal Rumble and on yesterday's TV show. It could be Shane turning on Miz by attacking Miz and - or - his dad or it could be Miz beating up Shane after their loss and, as a result, disappointing his currently happy father.
There is a special for the market where clients can wager on the champions to retain. They're 2/7 here. If The Usos claim the straps, winning bets will be settled at 5/2.
The likely main event of the show has Daniel Bryan defending his WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. His opponents, along with their odds, are: AJ Styles (5/1), Samoa Joe (5/1), Randy Orton (6/1), Mustafa Ali (8/1) and Jeff Hardy (16/1).
Bryan is a 4/5 favourite to retain.
Daniel Bryan has nice odds, I can only see them dropping until the event. After showing the new title last night theres just no way he loses it this quickly.
