Kambi Publishes Rumble 2019 Match Markets

The oddsmakers from Kambi have released betting markets for the matches that are currently scheduled to take place on the undercard of this year's WWE Royal Rumble.

In this post, I'll run through all of the prices as of the time they were installed.

For starters, the bookies have placed The Miz and Shane McMahon as 1/3 favourites to beat the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Bar. A win in favour of the titleholders will pay out at 2/1.

Another match that was confirmed on last night's episode of Smackdown will have Asuka defend her WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Becky Lynch. The challenger is a 4/5 favourite while Asuka is 9/10.

WWE Champion - Daniel Bryan - is 1/3 to retain his title with a decision over AJ Styles (2/1). While Raw's champ - Brock Lesnar - is 3/10 to overcome Braun Strowman (11/5) if he's good to go for the Universal Championship match.

Ronda Rousey is 1/16 to best Sasha Banks in the WWE Raw Women's Championship match. Banks is 6/1.

Markets for the two Royal Rumble matches were republished alongside the regular match odds.

Seth Rollins has moved to 5/4 favourite. The most recent price I have for him is 2/1. At the time, Drew McIntyre was at 6/4, but he's now up to 5/2 second-favourite.

Becky Lynch was previously an even-money favourite to be victorious in the women's Rumble. However, with Lynch in the Smackdown Women's Championship match, the bookmakers have moved her up to 5/2 and cut Charlotte Flair from 3/1 into 1/4.

Match positioning might be important in regard to Becky Lynch. If the women's Rumble goes before the Smackdown Women's Championship match, you can forget about her being in the battle royal let alone win it. If, on the other hand, her match with Asuka happens before the women's Rumble - and she doesn't leave with the strap - there would still be a chance of her participating later in the night.

With that said, Charlotte Flair being moved into favouritism following the Asuka .vs. Becky Lynch match being confirmed is understandable.

Prices correct as of the time of writing. You can view the latest by following the link below to one of the websites with Kambi's odds.

  1. How unlikely would a scenario be where:
    1. Lynch wins the title at Rumble
    2. Rousey somehow loses her title to Banks at Rumble
    3. Rousey is then inserted into the women's Rumble in place of Banks
    4. Rousey wins the Rumble and challenges Lynch for the SD title

    1. It's unlikely because Ronda's loss shouldn't happen here.
