Two Rumble Odds Notes For January 20th

There have been mild changes to two of the 5Dimes Sportsbook's WWE Royal Rumble markets since last night's post.

I noticed the first adjustments this afternoon when it was clear that Daniel Bryan's odds to retain the WWE Championship against AJ Styles have been lowered.

Date/Time
Daniel Bryan
AJ Styles
18/1 10:30AM
-265
+185
20/1 12:30PM
-285
+205

He is now down to -285. He was -265 before then. The oddsmakers have now moved Styles up to +205 from +185.

The only other price change occurred sometime after 12:30PM GMT and before 10:30PM tonight. It has seen Braun Strowman's price to win the men's battle royal snipped from +334 into +300.

This is the second time I've noticed Strowman moving down in Royal Rumble betting. In yesterday's post, I pointed out that he had dipped to the aforementioned +334 from +400.

5Dimes' WWE markets are found under 'Pro Wrestling' on the sportsbook's website. The sportsbook's founder is still missing as of the time of writing - please read this post for most of the details.

  1. Slightly off subject, but been thinking about the womans scene, and I dont think they will have two female title matches at wrestlemania. With that being said what if becky wins the title match, charlotte wins the rumble and challenges them both in a triple threat?

    1. It isn't an original idea. A couple of guys I speak with on Twitter came up with it a number of weeks ago within hours of each other. Then, not long after that, somebody emailed Dave Meltzer a question about the likelihood of it happening on one of the Observer podcasts.

If you're asking me - I don't like the idea, but there's obviously a few out there who would like it!
