Kambi's Observer Star Rating Markets For Elimination Chamber 2019 Published

The oddmsakers from Kambi published their Wrestling Observer Newsletter specials for WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 this morning.

As per usual, there's a market where customers can bet on the 'Exact Star Rating Of The Highest Rated Match' in Dave Meltzer's review of the event in the next issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, another market where clients can bet on the match that is crowned the match of the night per Meltzer's star rating system and then there are Over/Under lines for all of the matches currently scheduled to take place on the night.

The 'Exact Star Rating of the Highest Rated Match on the Card' market has 'Exactly 4 Stars' and 'Exactly 4.25 Stars' as joint-favourites. Both are 2/1. Next up is 'Exactly 4.5 Stars' at 9/4.

If you're looking for any of the bouts in the review to get more than four-and-three-quarters, then the option to go '4.75 Stars or more' is 13/4.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 Observer Star Rating Betting

Unlike previous PPVs that Kambi has installed Observer star rating markets for, the 'Higest Rated Match on the Card' market has two options rather than the usual plethora of selections. I guess this is more to do with the WWE Championship match looking to be, on paper, the bout to beat.

The bookies have given the men's Elimination Chamber match odds of 1/4 to get the most stars in Meltzer's review. The selection that will cover the rest of the card - 'Any Unlisted Match' - is 5/2.

With the WWE Championship match being regarded by the bookies as the one that'll be the likeliest winner in the highest rated match market, it should come as no surprise to see it having the highest line in the Over/Under special.

The bookies have set Daniel Bryan's WWE Championship defence at 4.25. Customers can get to choose whether Meltzer will rate the match over, under or exactly on this number.

The full list of matches, and their lines, can be viewed below:

Buddy Murphy .vs. Akira Tozawa: 3.5 Stars
Braun Strowman .vs. Baron Corbin: 2.25 Stars
Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush .vs. Finn Balor: 3 Stars
Ronda Rousey .vs. Ruby Riott: 3.25 Stars
Shane McMahon and The Miz .vs. The Usos: 3.25 Stars
Women's Elimination Chamber Match: 2.75 Stars
Men's Elimination Chamber Match: 4.25 Stars

I'm planning to wager on the Intercontinental Championship match to beat three stars. I feel that Rush and Balor will get to do enough. Before the market was published, I predicted the oddsmaker would have had it at 3.50.

There are others I like, but not as much as the IC Title line.

I think the WWE Raw Women's Championship match has the potential to do better than its line (I predicted 3.50, so it' s 0.25 shorter). Same goes for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship line (I guessed 3.50 and it's also 3.25).
