Closing Odds For 12th March 2019 Edition Of Smackdown (With Update)

Sky Bet has now closed the two markets that were published for tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown.

Customers were able to first bet on an eight-man tag team match and Samoa Joe's US Championship defence against R-Truth.

The eight-man match market saw the team consisting of The Bar, Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura drop from 9/4 into 7/4 between last night and this morning.

The Hardys, Ricochet and Aleister Black were the favourites, but - due to the underdogs' price moving in - went up from 1/3 to 2/5 in the same period.

The US Championship market had Samoa Joe go from a short favourite to an extremely short favourite.

The champ was 1/8 when I first came across the market. He was 1/10 by morning and was then down to 1/20 this afternoon.

With Joe's tumble, the bookies pushed R-Truth out from 9/2 into 8/1 which is where he closed.

13th March Update
The eight-man match resulted in a no contest, so all wagers will be voided if they haven't been already.
Samoa Joe .vs. R-Truth was changed to a tag team match with Joe tagging up with Andrade in a losing effort against R-Truth and Rey Mysterio. Bets on the singles match will/have also be graded as void.
