Jon Moxley's NJPW Debut And How It Will Lead To The Settlement Of A Prop Market

Jon Moxley first match, since leaving his WWE role as Dean Ambrose, has just started off during New Japan Pro Wrestling's Best of the Super Juniors final.

The bout - against Juice Robinson for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship - means that a prop bet from Kambi that was published earlier is very close to being settled.

Kambi's market was installed in mid-March with customers being offered the opportunity to wager on where they believe Jonathan Good's next match would take place after 23:59 Pacific Time on May 1st.

This was because WWE had sent out a press release informing everyone that Good had decided to leave the company.

The options punters got to choose from were 'World Wrestling Entertainment' or 'Any Unlisted Promotion'.

I wrote all about the market when it was first published, but also did so a day following Good's appearance - back under his Jon Moxley character - at AEW's Double or Nothing show last month.

The eventual winning selection, 'Any Unlisted Promotion', closed at odds of 11/25.

Per the rules of the market, Kambi should settle all bets once the match is 'acknowledged as having taken place by the edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter covering the results of the related event'.

Therefore, if it isn't settled sooner, it should be settled any time after Thursday morning if the issue is released on its usual schedule.
