Kofi Kingston .vs. Samoa Joe Confirmed For WWE Extreme Rules 2019

WWE has confirmed - via Twitter - that Samoa Joe will challenge Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship at WWE Extreme Rules.

Kofi Kingston .vs. Samoa Joe Confirmed For WWE Extreme Rules 2019

As I wrote this morning, it looked like this was the direction after Samoa Joe attacked Kingston on Raw.

Earlier today, Joe was 50/1 to succeed Kingston as WWE Champion with Sky Bet. He has since moved up the board and is 4/1.

I strongly believe that Kingston will retain after a punishing battle, but his celebration will be interrupted by Brock Lesnar cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

Which leads me back to Sky Bet's 'Champion After Kofi Kingston' market.

Lesnar is a 7/4 joint-favourite.

  1. Got a feeling that Brock will cash in on Kofi at Extreme Rules and rematch at Summerslam

    What do you think ?

    1. It's possible, but this is the era where automatic rematches aren't supposed to be a thing so who knows?
