Sky Bet published a 'United States Champion after Ricochet' market earlier this week and I thought I'd wait until there had been adjustments made to it before I covered it.
The early selections that have had their prices shortened are AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Sami Zayn and Rey Mysterio.
Styles - who opened as a 7/2 favourite - has been moved down to 3s. Its understandable to see him as the favourite because he beat Ricochet on Monday's episode of WWE Raw. The win could potentially lead to him becoming the number one contender to the title. However, I suspect that Ricochet will win if they meet in the very near future.
As I wrote in the comments section of this post from earlier in the week, I had a small bet on Rey Mysterio. I thought 20/1 was worth a gamble because of the reports that Mysterio's injury was seemingly not as severe as originally diagnosed and he is expected back sooner than expected.
There was obviously some sort of plan involving Rey and his son, Dominick, before the injury. Samoa Joe moving in a different direction could be a sign that they've moved away from that plan, however.
Bray Wyatt and Sami Zayn moving in are also understandable as they're heels who would compliment the babyface champion.
