Kambi's coverage of this weekend's WWE Stomping Grounds has resumed with the bookmakers republishing markets that were taken down ahead of this week's TV shows and also installing prices for the latest matches that have been added to the card.
They've priced up Tony Nese as a 7/20 favourite to successfully retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship against Drew Gulak (3/1) and Akira Tozawa (17/4).
Another title match on the card will see Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan defend the Smackdown Tag Team Championship against Heavy Machinery. The champs are 2/7 faves while Otis and Tucker are 9/4.
WWE United States Champion - Samoa Joe - is 2/5 to get a decision over his challenger, Ricochet (7/4).
Another match that was set up this week has The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) in a tag team bout against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. The former are 9/10 to Owens and Zayn's 4/5.
Most of the markets that were available before today have had some changes made to them.
Alexa Bliss' odds to get a win over WWE Smackdown Women's Champion - Bayley - have been snipped from 7/2 to 11/4. The champ is now 11/50 from 2/13.
Drew McIntyre has been moved from 5/4 to EVS for his match with Roman Reigns (now 7/10 from 11/20).
Baron Corbin has lowered from 4/1 to 7/2 in the Universal Championship market. A win for Seth Rollins was initially 1/8 but is now 2/13.
The challenger in the WWE Championship match is also showing shorter odds as Dolph Ziggler has been cut from 6/1 to 11/2. As a result, Kofi Kingston's role as favourite has risen from 1/16 to 1/14.
There has been no adjustments made in the market for Becky Lynch's WWE Raw Women's Championship defence against Lacey Evans. The titleholder is 1/4 and the challenger is 9/2.
I think Drew will win. Think they might give him a victory here since he has lost to Roman before
ReplyDeleteThen Roman might beat them in probably a handicap match at Extreme Rules by pinning Drew.
Them he finally beats Shane at Summerslam
Yep, that's more or less how I think it'll go.
DeleteNot sure about McIntyre being the one to take the fall in the handicap match if it happens.
By the way Abraham, I think AJ will be the ref now.
DeleteAJ as the referee. Interesting but he's already in a storyline with club
DeleteAlso, Corbin and AJ hate each other
As for McIntyre taking fall at Extreme Rules, I just felt that might happen if Shane vs Roman rematch happens at Summerslam
ReplyDeleteHey David, you said AJ Styles is your prediction predictions for special guest
ReplyDeleteAfter thinking about it, I guess you might be correct. Styles has issues with both Rollins and Corbin.
I can see Styles offering Corbin for referee at the PPV, Corbin doesn't like it but he has no choice because Seth has attacked every possible referee by that time
Yeah, and remember the last time we saw Rollins and Styles together - if I recall correctly - was after their match when they were showing each other respect. So, if Rollins respects Styles, he won't have a problem having him reffing the match.
DeleteStyles could have done what he did with Gallows and Anderson next week if he wasn't going to be at the PPV.
I was speaking with one of my friends today and he had an idea which would have Stephanie as the ref and it eventually leads to Steph v Becky at SummerSlam somehow.
Your friend's idea is actually pretty cool.
DeleteSteph vs Becky at Summerslam has been rumoured for months now.
Becky attacks Steph, other referee pins. Rollins wins and that leads to Becky vs Steph at Summerslam
Also that would be brilliant from Corbi because Seth has attacked every man who are picked as referee. So, Corbin picks Stephanie since he knows Rollins cannot attack a woman.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's one of the main reasons why he thinks it could be Steph.
