AJ Styles versus Ricochet has opened as a 3/4 favourite to be the highest rated match in Dave Meltzer's review of WWE SummerSlam 2019 when next week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is published.
A betting market, priced up by Kambi, was published this morning with the 'WWE United States Championship' heading a list of eight selections.
The second-favourite is Brock Lesnar .vs Seth Rollins for the 'WWE Universal Championship'. It's 33/20.
Next up is 'Any Women Match' which would cover the two women's title matches and Charlotte Flair .vs. Trish Stratus. This selection is 2/1.
The list continues all the way down to the 40/1 that's being offered for 'Bill Goldberg .vs. Dolph Ziggler'.
A conspicuous absence, considering how everything is going in WWE right now, is the option to bet on 'Any Unlisted Match'.
The bookies have also created an 'Exact Star Rating of the Highest Rated Match' market. The 'Exactly 4.25 Stars' and 'Exactly 4 Stars' options are 33/20 joint-favourites. Next up are '4.5 Stars or More' and 'Exactly 3.75 Stars' at 2/1 joint-second favourite followed by 'Exactly 3.5 Stars' at 4s and '3.25 Stars or Less' at 17/1.
I agree. These are the only 2 matches that has the capability of reaching 4 or 4+ stars
ReplyDeleteI'm expecting AJ - Ricochet to be better at Summerslam than their match at Extreme Rules which got 3.75 rating
Brock's matches are great against small athletic guys and Rollins is one of the best in WWE . I think people are umderrating this
Other matches like Kofi vs Orton, Shane vs Owens and Charlotte vs Trish are in the range of 3.5 stars but don't think it can be great
