Sky Bet's KOTR Winner Odds For August 20th And More

Sky Bet has republished its WWE King of the Ring 2019 Winner market following last night's first round matches that saw Samoa Joe and Cedric Alexander progress to the quarter-finals.

Joe has stayed at 10/1, but Alexander's price has been cut from 8/1 into 9/2 following last night's win against Sami Zayn.

Two other selections have moved in since yesterday's post and they are Andrade and Baron Corbin. The former has lowered from 5/1 into 9/2 while Corbin has dipped to 3/1 from 7/2.

Drew McIntyre remains at the top of the board. However, he shares this spot, as a 5/2 joint-favourite, with a new addition to the market - Shane McMahon. I shuddered after writing the last sentence as it reminded me of the World Cup tournament from last year.

In the most recent post, I shared my predicted bracket. I had Joe and Alexander to progress, so that worked out okay. I would say it's so far so good, but there were a few things on last night's Raw that had be concerned about the chances of my overall pick - Drew McIntyre.

The first thing that stood out to me is he is being touted by commentators as the favoutite. He was even named by Booker T as a potential winner.

Another thing that stood out to me is the result of the tag match which saw Ricochet and The Miz beat Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre.

At the close - Ricochet pinned Corbin, so - now that we have the visual of Ricochet pinning Corbin - I have a feeling Corbin and Ricochet could meet in Raw's semi-final with Corbin going over.

Until then, I will remain hopeful that McIntyre goes on to become king.

Albeit slightly less than I have been for the past week.
