With Tyson Fury being part of an angle on this past Friday's WWE Smackdown and with WWE revealing he'll be on the upcoming edition of Monday Night Raw, the oddsmakers from Paddy Power have created WWE/Tyson Fury specials.
They don't appeal to me at all.
The first is 6/4 for Fury to 'Enter The Ring At WrestleMania 2016'.
Considering the angles are seemingly leading to something for WWE Crown Jewel on October 31st, I don't find the 6/4 attractive at all.
I'm not saying Fury won't be a part of Mania, but - as of this moment - the signs are pointing to Saudi Arabia and nothing else, so 6/4 is unappealing.
The other selections are just as blah:
- Tyson Fury to partner Sheamus in a tag-team match before end of 2020 2/1
- Tyson Fury to win a WWE belt before end 2020 4/1
I know Sheamus is a countryman, and has been working for them recently with the sportsbook's Japanese World Cup coverage, but a more realistic option would be to ask customers to bet on Fury and Braun Strowman to be partners in a tag match before the end of 2020.
Heck, I'd go for 'before end of 2019' if the price was right and factored in the slim chance that Fury's participation will be as a wrestler and that the current angle is teasing Strowman and Fury being at odds rather than teammates.
