Andrade is the new WWE United States Champion after beating Rey Mysterio for the strap in Madison Square Garden last night.
The news began to filter in on social media as the house show was in progress in the early hours of this morning UK time.
When I first learnt of the title change a little after 1:30AM GMT, I checked in with Sky Bet's 'United States Champion after Rey Mysterio' market to see if it was still available.
It was there, but was taken down not long afterwards.
When I checked in, Andrade was still at the same price he was when I looked through the market late last night. He was a 2/1 second-favourite behind Seth Rollins (8/11).
The market was first installed a week after Mysterio's title win over AJ Styles on the November 25th episode of Monday Night Raw. When I first came across the market - on the night of December 4th - the eventual winner was a 2/1 favourite.
At the time, I thought there were two conspicuous absences on the list of potential winners in Cain Velasquez and Mysterio's son - Dominick.
After the title change, I'm glad I didn't request their names be added.
