Kambi Publishes Pro Wrestling TV Props For 2020

The oddsmakers from Kambi have released pro wrestling TV proposition markets for the year of 2020.

There are eight props available as of today and - in this post - I'll do my best to explain what is needed in each.

AEW Beats WWE
The proposition for this market is 'At least 1 AEW Dynamite episode in 2020 to have more overall P2+ Live+Same Day viewers than WWE's most viewed broadcast of Raw, NXT or Smackdown of the same week. All episodes count regardless of channel/day/starting time'
The 'Yes' is 2/1 and the 'No' is 1/3.

It took me a short while to understand what is required in this market, but I think I've figured it out.
For the 'Yes' to win, AEW Dynamite's audience number would have to beat the best number that WWE has for an episode of Raw, NXT or Smackdown in the same week.
So, say the May 1st Smackdown draws an audience of 1,300,000 and it beats NXT and Raw for the week, AEW - on April 29th - would've had to have had 1,300,001 or above for the 'Yes' to win.
I reckon the 'Yes' is far too short at 2s because I cannot see any way where 'No' loses this bet..

Friday Night Death Slot
The prop titled 'Friday Night Death Slot' allows customers to gamble on Smackdown on FOX being cancelled or officially moved to FS1 or another FOX channel permanently in 2020.
The 'No' is a 13/25 favourite while the 'Yes' is 13/10.

Ratings Predictions: April 3 Smackdown
In this prop, the sportsbook asks the gambler whether the Smackdown on FOX before WrestleMania 36 has a total average audience of 2.9 Million viewers or more.
The 'Yes' is EVS. Those looking to gamble on the 'No' will find the selection a 7/10 fave.

Ratings Predictions: April 6 Raw
Similar to the above, the bookies are offering customers to gamble on an episode of WWE TV around WrestleMania 36. This time, the focus is on the Raw After Mania. The line is set at 2.75 Million viewers. Those who believe the total average will hit 2,750,000 or above can get 'Yes' at 9/10. Those who would like to wager on the show doing below that figure can back 'No' at 4/5.

FYI: The 2019 episode of WWE Raw after WrestleMania had a total average audience of 2,924,000 viewers. Read THIS POST

Ratings Predictions: April 8 NXT
Another 'Ratings Prediction' prop is for the post-Mania episode of NXT on the USA Network. Kambi asks whether this edition will have 1 Million or more viewers.
They've priced 'Yes' as a 4/5 favourite while the 'No' is 9/10.

Ratings Predictions: Raw .vs. NFL Monday Night Football 2020 Debut
In this market, the bookmaker asks '1.85 Million P2+ Live+Same Day viewers or more for the Raw (USA Network) episode in the first head-to-head night against NFL's Monday Night Football'.
'No' is 3/4 and 'Yes' is 19/20.

FYI: The first head-to-head between WWE Raw and the NFL for the 2019 season saw Raw pick up a total average audience of 2,130,000 viewers. Read THIS POST.

Wednesday Night War 2020
In this prop, the customer is asked 'AEW Dynamite (TNT) to have more weeks in 2020 in which it has more overall P2+ Live+Same Day viewers head to head against NXT (USA Network)'.
Both 'Yes' and 'No' are available at 17/20 apiece.

Wednesday Night War Records
The bookmaker asks 'AEW viewership record in a head-to-head broadcast to be broken' at any point in 2020. For bets to win, AEW Dynamite must oppose NXT on Wednesday night on their respective channels (TNT and the USA Network) and AEW must record over 1,409,000 viewers.
Those who would like to bet on AEW not beating the number from its debut episode are offered 2/5 while those who believe the record will be broken in 2020 can get 7/4 for the 'Yes'.

Prices were correct as of 6PM GMT on Monday 30 December 2019.
