The DUD Rule

In the most recent post, I noted that the oddsmakers from Kambi had installed an Over/Under star ratings market for the Roman Reigns .vs. King Corbin match that has been added to the Royal Rumble card and thought I'd post an update about the O/U rules.

I noticed yesterday, when I was checking the results of my NJPW WrestleKingdom 14 star ratings bets, that a new rule has been applied. It reads:

Matches rated as DUD will be considered as having 0.0 stars

This was welcome news to me.

I wrote in the post about the WWE Crown Jewel 2019 star ratings results that I felt any customers who backed 'Under 1.5 Stars' in the Tyson Fury .vs. Braun Strowman were let down when Dave Meltzer graded the bout a DUD and all bets on the market were voided due to no stars being awarded.

Thankfully, this won't happen in future now that the DUD rule has been added to the rules of these markets.
