Sky Bet has published a market for the Universal Championship match that has been confirmed for this month's Royal Rumble PPV.
On last night's episode of WWE Smackdown, a storyline was created in which Reigns' original challenger - Adam Pearce - excused himself from participation in the upcoming match. He revealed that, per one of the terms in the contract he had just signed, that a replacement would take his place. That turned out to be Reigns' current nemesis - Kevin Owens.
When I checked in this afternoon, Sky Bet listed Reigns as a 1/5 fave to win the last man standing match. He has since been backed into 1/8 while a decision for Owens has increased from 10/3 to 9/2.
The betting agency had installed a market for the previously announced contest.
In that market, Reigns was 1/33 and Pearce was 10/1.
