Kambi's O/U Observer Star Ratings Results For NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day

Only one match fell below the line in Kambi's Wrestling Observer Newsletter star ratings over/under markets for this past Sunday's NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.

The bout of note was the NXT Women's Championship match, which saw Io Shirai retain her title over Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez. It received three-and-three quarter stars in Dave Meltzer's review from inside the February 22nd issue of the Wrestling Observer.

Kambi's line was set at four stars. The eventual winner - 'Under 4 Stars' - was a 4/6 favourite over the 27/25 its opposition - '4 Stars Or More' - was offered in the period when the market was available.

The remaining four matches, apart from one which landed exactly on Kambi's line, went over by at least half a star.

'4.5 Stars Or More' was the punters' pick for the contest, which saw Balor retain his strap against The Bruiserweight. As you'll see below, the selection started as a 4/6 favourite on Saturday morning. It was down to 11/20 by 6:30PM GMT that evening and fell into 1/2 on the night of the show.

Going by the betting, the eventual winner was also the punters' choice to win. '4 Stars Or More' started out as an 11/20 favourite was backed into 1/2 by Saturday evening and was then at 2/5 on the morning of the show.
