More About Ronda Rousey, The Royal Rumble And WrestleMania

Following on from yesterday's report that Ronda Rousey could be returning to World Wrestling Entertainment in time for WrestleMania 38, betting firms have continued to cut Rousey's odds of winning this Saturday's Royal Rumble as well as having her name added to WrestleMania specials.

Sky Bet currently has Rousey as a 2/1 favourite to win Saturday's battle royal. When I last wrote about her odds with the firm, they had been cut from 16/1 into 8/1.

BetOnline still has Rousey's selection off the board while Paddy Power - which had her at 25/1 yesterday - now has her as a 4/1 joint-favourite alongside Bianca Belair.

Kambi's market was republished this afternoon with Rousey third in the running at 11/2. The selection has since fallen into 9/4 favourite after spending a short time as a 4/1 joint-second favourite. Customers would have found the selection at 15/1 twenty-four hours ago.

It's not just the Royal Rumble markets that have been affected by the report.

Sky Bet has included a 'Becky Lynch .vs. Ronda Rousey' selection to the betting market which allows punters to bet on what they think will main event night one of WrestleMania 38. It is currently at the top of the list as a 2/1 favourite.

Rousey's name has also been added to the WrestleMania titleholder markets, from Kambi, in which customers bet on who will be in possession of the major titles at the conclusion of the two-night event.

The Raw Women's Championship market has Rousey at 5/2 to be the Raw Women's Champion while the second market - this time for the Smackdown Women's Title - has Rousey at 5/1.
