A Look At Sky Bet's WWE Battleground 2014 Odds As Of 8PM BST Sunday

Out of the three British/Irish betting firms accepting bets on tonight's WWE Battleground pay-per-view, SkyBet.com will have its markets open right up until before the event starts at 1am BST.

In this post, I'm going to look at the prices available as of 8pm BST this evening.

Naomi is now 2/5 to win the pre-show match against her former Funkadactyl partner, Cameron. Cameron, who had been available at 9/2 when the book opened yesterday, is now 7/4.

Chris Jericho supporters can back the Ayatollah of Rock n Rollah at 4/1. That is, of course, if they think he will defeat Bray Wyatt. Wyatt is marked up as a 1/7 favourite. A slight change from the 1/6 he started at yesterday.

The battle between former Shield members has been quite even from a betting perspective. Ambrose opened at 4/5 with Rollins at 10/11. Their odds remain as they were.

Rusev is a heavy 1/6 fave against Jack Swagger (7/2).

Divas Champion, AJ Lee's price has shortened from 1/6 into 1/7. The challenger, Paige, is 4/1.

The sports betting company lists Cesaro at 4/6 to leave the 20-man battle royal as new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Nest to him on the list are The Miz (9/4) and Bo Dallas (3/1). You can see the odds for the other participants on Sky Bet's WWE Betting Page.

The Wyatts are 2/9 to wrest the WWE Tag Team Titles from The Usos in a best of three match. The Usos, who opened at 11/4 last night are now priced 3/1.

John Cena is 1/5 to win and retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event. His opponents for this match are Roman Reigns (3/1), Randy Orton (14/1) and Kane (28/1).

WWE odds can be found under 'Wrestling' on the sports menu at SkyBet.com. Alternatively, you can follow this direct link to Sky Bet's WWE Betting Page.

  1. Any tips guys? It is an interesting card. It cant be labelled predictable for a so-called throwaway Pay Per View! Any potential upsets?

    1. I'm interested to see what happens with the pre-show and Wyatt vs Jericho.

    2. You reckon Jericho going to win....because I think he will win

    3. I think that Wyatt will get the win with the help of his buddies, and that will set up the Uso's and Jericho vs. the Wyatt Family at Summerslam!!

I think that Naomi will get the win against Cameron because she is the superior athlete. The baby faces always tend to be victorious on the pre-shows!

Swagger could potentially upset Rusev, but I can guarantee you that there will be no mention of Vladimir Putin!

    4. I have a feeling the pre-show babyface win run ends tonight.

    5. Why do you say that David?

    6. Paul bray has gone from 1/17 to 1/3 so that could be a sign of him losing??

    7. Paul,

Have a feeling it's too early for the babyface to win, but it's in the throwaway babyface win spot. Hence it intriguing me.

    8. Kieran, Bray Wyatt needs a win, so he could beat Jericho! If it's a long term feud that is meant to last over the course of a few PPV's, Jericho should get the win in order to prolong it as long as possible. Jericho has no business chasing Wyatt, but Wyatt has- Wyatt is the protagonist!

A lot of heels are favourites to win tonight, and there are only 1 or 2 baby faces who are favourites, so that's why I think Naomi will win- but yes, David, the pre-show baby face winning slot has to end soon!!

  2. Odds have been kinda static don't you think David??

  3. Both the Wyatts will not win I reckon and the only definite winner looks to be AJ Lee....the John Cena story that came out today about him not being on Raw tomorrow makes it all the more interesting

    1. Him not being at Raw isn't going to change the plans for SummerSlam and Night of Champions.

    2. Yes but the rumour is either rollins or reigns winning the belt and then cena/lesnar at summerslam because lesnar gets involved tonight

    3. Reigns def wont win the belt any time in the near future because they have long term plans for him. I think that Cena vs. Lesnar has to be for the belt because Lesnar's stock has gone through the roof since WM30. Lesnar brings legitimacy!!!!

    4. Be careful of rumours.

Especially ones that come out on PPV weekends when there are betting lines out.

  4. all the odds are closing together meaning it must be an unpredictable ppv

  5. I am very very surprised that the odds have not shifted as they have done for the past 8-9 months....I think this goes to show that 'smart money' never existed and the fact that wwe was predictable at that time

    1. How does tonight prove anything?

There is enough evidence on this very blog to prove that smart money has been placed in the past.
