Revisiting Betfair's Royal Rumble 2015 Prop Bets

In a post published yesterday, I noted that the sportsbook compilers at Betfair.com had published betting odds for the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble. As well as offering match markets, they had created some prop bets for their customers to wager on. I'm going to have another look at these prices to see what the fans have been betting.

How many RKOs will be delivered on the night?

This one opened with over 2.5 RKOs priced at 8/13. The under was set at EVENS. The over has now moved to 1/2 with the under having drifted out to 6/5.

Longest time spent in the ring by a single wrestler (2-way)

This market remains stationary.

Over 49.5 minutes is 5/6
Under 49.5 minutes is 5/6

Longest time spent in the ring by a single wrestler (3-way)

The options here are:

Under 48 minutes 20/23
Between 48 and 51 minutes 4/1
Over 51 minutes 20/23

When the odds were drawn up, the 'Between 48 and 51 minutes' selection had a price of 13/2. The drop down to 4/1 indicates that the fans are expecting one of the wrestlers to remain in the match for that length of time. Either that or they liked the odds!

Most Eliminations

This market has remained the same as yesterday. The top two are still Roman Reigns (11/8) and Rusev (7/4).

Roman Reigns to eliminate 8 or more

There hasn't been a change in this market either. Both 'Yes' and 'No' have equal odds of 5/6.

I'll take another look at these markets over the course of the weekend. I expect they'll change as the event gets closer.
