The Rock Is In Philadelphia

The Rock sent out an Instagram picture of him in South Philadelphia within the past few hours. This has instantly caused people to speculate on whether he'll be involved in tonight's Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Upon hearing the news, I went onto Paddy Power's WWE Betting page to see if he had been added to the 30-man battle royal market.

He had.

The firm have installed him as a 25/1 chance of winning the match.

This isn't the best price for the wrestler.

He's available at 66/1 with SkyBet.com. However, the market pays out on a straight win while Paddy Power is paying out on 2nd place with 1/4 each-way terms.

The Rock's appearance on Sky Bet's Royal Rumble market at 66/1

In my opinion, if he was going to win the match I think he would have kept him being in Philadelphia a surprise. Unless, of course, it's one of those situations like Sting's appearance at last year's Survivor Series when the company wanted to produce a buzz beforehand by leaking it out.

Either way, I'm still not sold on him winning the match. With that said, the odds could be tempting to those looking to make speculative punts on entrants outside of the top three.

The Rock's odds are correct as of 8:30am GMT and are available on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page at 25/1 or Sky Bet's Wrestling Page at 66/1.
