UFC 187 : Where The Best Odds Are

UFC 187 takes place from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tomorrow night. The main card is jam packed and will feature two title bouts. One will see Chris Weidman defend the Middleweight Championship while the other is a Light Heavyweight Championship decider.

I have gone through the list of fights and noted where the best odds can be found for each fighter. I also made one pick for the night.

As per uusal, I'll note the odds available for visitors based in the US/Canada as well as for those in the UK and other parts of Europe.

Joseph Benavidez .vs. John Moraga

This one is in the Flyweight division.

Both fighters are on two-win streaks. However, Benavidez is the more experienced with a 21-4 record to Moraga's 16-3.

Benavidez's best odds:
1/5 Boylesports
-600 Bovada/Bodog

Moraga's odds:
9/2 Sky Bet, Coral, Betfred, Ladbrokes, Bet365
+470 5Dimes

Travis Browne .vs. Andrei Arlovski

Similar to above, both fighters are evenly matched in their current streaks. Both are going into the octagon with 4-1 in their last five fights respectively.

Browne's best prices:
4/15 Boylesports
-450 with both Bovada or 5Dimes

Arlovski's better numbers:
7/2 Bet365 or Ladbrokes
+360 5Dimes

Donald Cerrone .vs. John Makdessi

Cerrone is 27-6 and in the midst of a seven-fight win streak. Makdessi is coming off an April win against Shane Campbell at UFC 186.

Donald Cerrone is a short-priced favourite everywhere. I don't disagree.

The best Cerrone odds:
2/9 Betfair
-570 5Dimes

Makdessi's best price:
9/2 Bet365
+435 5Dimes

Chris Weidman .vs. Vitor Belfort

UFC Middleweight Champion, Weidman, is 12-0 for his career. Belfort is 24-10, but has been good for the past few fights winning the last three either by TKO or KO.

Weidman's best odds:
1/4 Sportingbet
-500 Bovada/Bodog

Belfort's better prices:
4/1 Ladbrokes or Bet365
+415 5Dimes

Anthony Johnson .vs. Daniel Cormier

This is for the vacant Light Heavyweight Championship that was stripped from Jon Jones following his latest troubles.

Johnson is 19-4, but on a nine-win streak. His rival is 15-1 and is coming off a judge's loss to the aforementioned Jones.

Johnson's best price:
11/10 Boylesports
-105 5Dimes

Cormier's best odds:
10/11 Bet365
-110 Bovada/Bodog

My Pick

Daniel Cormier 10/11 Bet365
