'To Be WWE World Heavyweight Champion At The End Of WrestleMania 33' Betting

The oddsmakers at 32Red.com, Unibet.com and 888Sport.com were quick to the punch for its customers when it came to offering betting options for WrestleMania 33.

Shortly after this year's Mania came to a close, the traders released lines where its clients could punt on whom they believe will close out the 2017 show as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

A lot of things can happen between now and April 2nd 2017, but here are a few thoughts on some of the names.

Roman Reigns 10/1 - Should be worth a look at those odds considering how they have been pushing him for the past few years.

Kevin Owens 20/1 - He has been my top pick to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Bray Wyatt 20/1 - There were a lot of reports about the company having big plans for Bray Wyatt this summer. Last night's Raw teased he was going in a different direction now, though. I can see him winning the Money in the Bank briefcase as well, so he enters the list just because of that.

Shinsuke Nakamura 40/1 - I'm hoping they bring him up to the main roster. I'd like to see he and Brock Lesnar wrestle at a WrestleMania for the title.

I'm going to pass on Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose because I have a feeling either one will get a run with the strap by the close of the year.

I've also discounted John Cena. And here's why: the company wanted to have him wrestle either Roman Reigns or The Undertaker this year and I believe they'll come back to one of those plans in time for 2017. If it's against Undertaker, it won't be for the title. If it's against Reigns - and it is for the title - I think he'll be the one to do the honours.

I'll have to try to remember about this post so as to re-read it in a year from now to see how close, or more likely far off, I'll end up being.

  1. These bookmakers are a pain for me.

They will now only allow me to bet a max 14.28 Euros.

When I try to go over this limit I have to place the bet for 'manual approval'... but instead of taking whatever stake they feel is acceptable within my proposed wager, the bet always comes back as 'rejected'. It's like they don't want me as customer.

Say I put in a bet of 200 Euros for manual approval and they feel the max stake they will allow is 50 Euros... why not edit my stake to 50 Euros instead of just flat out rejecting it?

    1. Do you get limited when betting on things other than WWE?

I have had to go to manual approval a few times and haven't been rejected. Had some partially accepted but never rejected completely.

  2. If I try to bet on football with Unibet:

For PSG tomorrow - 200 Euros
For Dortmund Thursday - 96 Euros
For Leicester Sunday - 11 Euros

I don't know if I'm being limited, but they sure won't let me place the same stakes as before:

Lesnar not to Suplex Vince (Fastlane) - 405 Euros
Charlotte to retain (Fastlane) - 131 Euros
    Triple H Rumble winner - 182 Euros
No Diva in Rumble - 672 Euros
No Rumble debutant winner - 336 Euros
No Mysterio Rumble record broken - 336 Euros

When you say your bets are partially accepted but never rejected completely, that tells me something is up.

It can't have anything with betting on WWE across all of these 3 bookmakers can it? I often duplicate my bets on all 3.

  3. Unibet is a pain for that but I think they have realised now about betting on WWE so are playing it safe.

  4. I was able to put £100 bets on WWE on 888sport. Always said needed manual verification but always accepted them and on the odd occasion it would accept most of the stake and lower odds
