MITB 2016 Betting: Cashing Out On Ambrose

In February, I placed a £10 bet on Dean Ambrose to win this year's Money in the Bank. I have now decided to cash out with more than a week left before the pay-per-view.

The Lunatic Fringe had opened as a 20/1 shot with bwin.com. I thought it was an attractive price knowing that Roman Reigns would more than likely be WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the time of the show. Part of this wager came down to fantasy booking Ambrose turning heel on his friend, Reigns, to execute his right to an immediate title shot. Despite this, I was still high on Kevin Owens or Bray Wyatt holding the briefcase on June 19th.

When looking over my betting history earlier today, I saw that the bookmaker was offering £49.74 to cash out the Ambrose bet early. I took the money without a second thought.

I placed the bet on him at the right time. Time will tell whether the cash out was a wrong move. As of this moment, I think I've made the right choice.
