Two Underdog Selections Dropping At 5Dimes

There have been some interesting price movements over at 5Dimes' SummerSlam 2016 markets this evening.

At around 6:30pm BST, I noticed that the line for Charlotte to win the WWE Women's Championship had started to dip. In this morning's update, I noted she was a +700 outsider to be victorious in the match. As of 9:15pm, her number has fallen to +170.

This has obviously forced the oddsmakers to improve Sasha Banks' odds to retain her title with a win. She has moved from -1500 to -230 in the same period.

The other move has been in the tag team match where Enzo and Big Cass take on JeriKO.

The heels have dropped from +450 to +180 since the start of the day.  A bet on Enzo and Cass is now being offered at -260. They had been -750 this morning.

For what it's worth, I'm unconvinced that Sasha Banks is losing that match. I find it intriguing that Charlotte's odds have dropped like this, though.

Odds taken from 5Dimes.com.

  1. Wow that is a big drop... It really would make 0 sense taking the title off Sasha so soon especially considering she was meant to win it at summerslam originally and i really can't think of a scenario where Charlotte wins via dq.. Enzo n cass match is confusing too. They are hot hot hot and last I heard wwe are pushing them hard

    1. It's obviously possible, but I think the Nia Jax beating jobber thing hasn't run its course yet

  3. WWE like to book the hometown heroes to lose. This could explain Enzo & Cass' odds dropping.

I don't see both Enzo & Cass and New Day winning, so it will be interesting to watch odds next 48 hours.

    1. I see both Enzo & Cass winning along with The Newday to set up a title clash.
