Cesaro Goes Ahead In Best Of Seven Betting

Cesaro has moved into the role of favourite to win the Best-of-Seven Series between he and Sheamus.

The 5Dimes Sportsbook installed odds where customers could bet on the overall winner of the upcoming meetings yesterday evening. The early lines were set with both wrestlers being given -120 odds.

The pair were still -120 each earlier this morning, but there has now been signs of activity in this market as Cesaro has shortened to -170.

As a result of this change, Sheamus has been moved into an outsider at +130.

In related news, a SummerSlam match market for Cesaro vs Sheamus was published at Ladbrokes.com yesterday evening shortly after 5Dimes put up this special.

Despite the opposite being stated on Ladbrokes' Twitter account last night, Ladbrokes has assured me that this market is for the first match. However, I get the feeling that the customers are betting into this market under the misguided belief that it's for the entire series due to the market being worded as 'Cesaro vs Sheams - Best of Seven Series' on the SummerSlam match board.

As with 5Dimes, the Ladbrokes market opened with both options at 5/6 (-120 US). The latest pricing points to Cesaro being the punters' choice as he is 4/7 favourite while Sheamus is out at 5/4.

In contrast, Sheamus is a favourite in the SummerSlam match markets everywhere else.

I passed on my concern to Ladbrokes yesterday evening, but nothing has been done about it. I did a live chat with another customer rep this evening and this person told me I should go by what I was told yesterday evening, so I have placed a bet on Sheamus.
